The famous 36-year-old actor, Nick Pasqual, has been found guilty of stabbing his ex-girlfriend, a makeup artist, more than 20 times after he broke into her home in the Los Angeles area. The court has given their judgement and How I Met Your Mother star has been jailed for 32 years.
The 36-year-old actor has appeared in many shows throughout his illustrious 16-year acting career. But it is all in vain, as he had been found guilty of attacking Allie Shehorn inside her home in May 2024. Last month, he was found guilty of attempted murder, forcible rape and domestic violence. The ex-couple was not together at the time of the fateful attack. On June 2, 2026, the court handed down the judgment and announced 32 years of imprisonment to Nick Pasqual, and Judge Hayden Zackey called the actor 'as bad as it gets'.
Allie Shehorn was present in the court at the time of the judgment and was dressed up in a red dress that revealed her stabbing scars. She broke down while recalling how she was lying on the floor in a pool of blood after the attack, and wondered if she would even become a mother someday. The 37-year-old makeup artist further revealed that she had to wrap a belt around her neck and pull it tight to stop the bleeding before paramedics arrived at her home.
In his defence, Nick Pasqual asked permission to address the court after the sentencing. He stated that the incident has weighed heavily on him and is a burden which he will carry for the rest of his life, and he was thankful that she was still alive, adding that he plans to remain focused on sobriety and remorse. However, later, in an interview with The California Post, the ex-girlfriend stated that she doesn't believe whatever Nick said while addressing the court.
Nick Pasqual and Alie Shehorn, who started dating in 2023, broke up after a violent fight. In April 2024, Nick tried to rape Allie. After this, in May 2024, Allie called the police and a restraining order was issued against him, and Nick was jailed for domestic abuse. In the same month, Pasqual broke into Allie's home at 4 a.m. and stabbed her multiple times before attempting to flee to Mexico.
Nick was arrested in Texas, where he was charged and later found guilty of attempted murder. Allie fought for her life in the hospital for a week. She was left with visible scarring along her neck and arms from the attack, and recounted the horrors of the night during the trial. The aftermath of the attack left her with partial vision loss and loss of sensation in her hands. She was quoted as saying:
"Every day is different and it's a struggle, and just dealing with the permanent damage is really hard. I can't go back completely to how I was. I still don't have feeling back in my hands and partial vision loss that I can't get back."
