Now, Asim Riaz created a stir by taking a jab at the premiere of Salman Khan-hosted show, Bigg Boss 20. Here’s how netizens reacted to it.
Asim Riaz, who rose to fame with his stint on the show, Bigg Boss 13, has now taken a jab at the latest season of the reality show. For the uninitiated, Bigg Boss 20 premiered on September 6, 2026. Shortly after Bigg Boss 20’s premiere, Asim took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and took a dig at the show. In a now-deleted note, Asim wrote, "Another flop season loading."
However, his statement did not go over well with the netizens, and thus they slammed him. Reacting to Asim’s statement, a user wrote, "Your time has passed. You're just a runner-up, so stay quiet and watch the show. Remember that Salman Khan is the host of Bigg Boss, so watch your words." Another user commented, "Every season flop bolna bhi ek routine ban gaya hai... difference bas itna hai ki Bigg Boss har saal trend karta hai, aur tumhare predictions har saal flop hote hain." Another comment can be read as:
"I used to support this guy during BB13, and he's still the same irritable and insecure man... You can't compare TV ratings with today's digital era, where almost 80% of people watch on their phones."
A third user penned, "Bro, you call it a flop every year, yet BB trends every year. You may be a runner-up, but the show will always be run by Salman Khan." This season, Bigg Boss’ theme is Tathastu, which means contestants will get an extra lifeline this year. Each and every contestant will get an opportunity to 'win' either a vardaan or a jeevandaan, and Room No. 20 will play an important role.

He was the first runner-up of Salman-hosted show. He has often grabbed the headlines for his controversial remarks. Coming to his personal life, Asim has been single after his high-profile breakup with former girlfriend Himanshi Khurana in December 2023.
Back then, Himanshi wrote on X that they were calling it quits due to their different religious beliefs. She wrote, "Yes, we are not together anymore. All the time we have spent together has been great, but our togetherness comes to an end now. The journey of our relationship was great, and we are moving forward in our lives. With due respect to our respective religions, we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We have nothing against each other. We request you to respect our privacy."
