Lil Durk said he is a good guy and good husband, years before his murder-for-hire trial

Lil Durk has been with India Royale for a long time. The duo, who share a daughter named Willow, got engaged in 2021. However, their relationship went through a rough patch when the rapper cheated on her in 2022. At the time, India claimed that she was single, leading Durk to publicly address their relationship.

Taking to Instagram, Lil Durk did his best to save his relationship. While admitting his wrongdoings, he recalled when India was still pregnant with their daughter. He said that even though he is a good guy and a good husband, it was not right for him to never listen to the pain that India was going through. Lil Durk wrote:

"I fucked up. She played a small part. She is really a good girl who lives life. I am a good guy, a good husband. I just never listened to her pain back when she was pregnant with Willow in the belly. So, I ain’t perfect. But I am perfect for you. I love you, and I am all ears whenever we get back into a relationship. You saved my life with you, Willow, and Big Sky; out of all my kids you was there."
