Amid the showering of love, the Kardashian-Jenner 'momager' received a cutesy message from her long-time partner, Corey Gamble, who addressed her as his "lil wife."
Amid the buzz surrounding a potential secret wedding, the attention has shifted to the matriarch's love story with her much-younger partner. Although neither has confirmed a wedding, Kris has previously hinted that marriage could still be a possibility.
Kris has never shied away from discussing the age difference between her and Corey. She talked about the relationship and her initial reservations in an episode of The Kardashians in May 2024. Recalling how she felt when they first started dating, Kris said, "I used to say to Corey all the time when I first started dating him, like, why do you want to date somebody who is older than you?"
At first, she said, she had trouble understanding the age difference between them. However, Corey helped her look at it differently. Kris quipped, "I didn't get the age gap, and then he taught me that age is just a number. It's a f***ing big number, but it's a number!"
The momager also spoke about the chemistry they share, explaining that she couldn't put into words why people fall in love but was grateful for the relationship they had built. She said:
"I can't explain someone's chemistry or why people fall in love, but it's been an amazing almost 10 years, and we have a great time."
Kris and Corey first met in August 2014 at the 40th birthday party of their mutual friend, fashion designer Riccardo Tisci, in Ibiza, Spain. At the time, Kris was navigating her separation from Caitlyn Jenner after more than two decades of marriage. The two reportedly grew close soon after meeting and were spotted together on dinner dates and vacations in the months that followed. By April 2015, Kris had made their relationship Instagram official.
Kris and Corey made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the 2016 Met Gala. He gradually became part of the Kardashian-Jenner family circle, appearing on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and later The Kardashians. Despite their high-profile lives, the pair has generally kept their romance relatively private.
Kris has also spoken warmly about Corey's role in her life. In a 2021 interview with WSJ. Magazine, she described him as an incredible support system who gives her strength and insight. She praised his bond with her children and mother, too. In a July 2022 interview with PEOPLE, she further credited him with helping her think through professional decisions and navigate her busy schedule.
Corey recently gave fans another glimpse into their relationship with a heartfelt birthday message for Kris. On November 5, 2026, he celebrated her 71st birthday with a sweet Instagram tribute, calling her his "lil wife." Praising her role in the family, he said:
"You're the greatest mother, Lovey & Honey to all your kids, and I'm blessed to have you in my life, lil wife."
The use of the word "wife" renewed curiosity about the couple's marital status. However, neither Kris nor Corey has confirmed that they have tied the knot.
The couple has faced breakup speculation in the past, too. During an April 2026 appearance on her daughter Khloé Kardashian's Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, Kris dismissed rumors that she and Corey had split. She acknowledged that the speculation may have bothered him more than it bothered her, explaining that her busy schedule leaves little time to dwell on gossip.
During the same podcast conversation, Kris was asked about the possibility of marrying Corey. Rather than ruling it out, she offered a playful response. She said, "You never know. You just never know. I'm full of surprises."
She even joked that Khloé could be a flower girl if they decided to get married. Khloé said she liked the idea of her mother tying the knot again, although she wasn't sure either of them necessarily needed to walk down the aisle. Kris also reiterated that their age difference had become less important over the years. She said:
"We have a great relationship. And for us, it's like age is just a number. I mean, I didn't plan that, you know? You don't plan, like, who you're going to fall in love with, or maybe who you're gonna end up with in life. It just happens."
Kris has continued to express her affection for Corey publicly. During a March 2025 episode of The Kardashians, she called him her "forever date" while reflecting on their relationship.
