The Kardashians star's personal life often hits the headlines, and there have been rumours that the model she's been a closeted lesbian all along. In a recent podcast, Kendall Jenner finally addressed the buzz, and clarified whether there's truth to the speculations about her being a lesbian.
Kendall Jenner recently appeared on a podcast, In Your Dream, wherein she addressed the buzz about her being a closeted lesbian. The American socialite revealed that there's a portion of Internet users who believe that she's a lesbian, and they are really mean about it, as they don't actually support, but rather make it look like it's something wrong to opt for. She further mentioned that she doesn't identify as gay, but if she would have been, she would never hide it.
Kendall added that it's understandable why it's hard to come forward; if she had been a lesbian, she would never hide it, given that she knows herself and that she can speak for herself. Explaning that she's not lesbian but would have come out if she had been so, rather than keeping it hidden, Kendall Jenner said:
"Then there's the whole side of the internet that thinks I'm a lesbian. You want to know what really bothers me? How mean people are about it. It's not with, like, a welcoming arm of like, 'Hey, if you were, yes, come join.' It's not kind. It's very mean. It's very like, 'What the f---- are you doing?'. I understand that coming out is not an easy thing for anybody, if not most people. And I'm not saying that's an easy thing, but knowing, and I can speak for myself here, and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life I'd be out if I was. I'm not saying it's an easy thing. I'm just saying that knowing me and knowing how I would want to live my life, I would be. I'd have no problem being that."
Going forward in the same interview, Kendall Jenner added that the whole narrative about her being a closeted lesbian and people calling it bad for business is what she thinks is messed up. She stated that she's not a lesbian and she doesn't think she will ever be, but she's closing the doors to experience in life. Kendall could be quoted as saying:
"I think that there's this whole narrative that I'm hiding this thing ... I've seen really f------ up things that are like, 'It's bad for business,' and I'm like, 'What? How?' I don't understand it. All's to say, as of today, I am not. I don't think I will be, but I'm not closing doors to experiences in life."
Kendall Jenner's personal life has always been a topic of discussion. Kendall was first linked to Harry Styles. The duo's dating speculations started in 2013, and they eventually started getting papped with each other. While reports claimed that they started off as friends, it reportedly evolved. It was Harry Styles' first 'real relationship' as reported. Well, the duo kept details limited only to themselves.
