Journal da Madeira also reported last year that the couple's wedding might take place this summer in Funchal Cathedral, known as Se Catedral de Nossa Senhora da Assuncao, situated just two miles away from where Ronaldo was born and close to the Nacional da Madeira field, where he began his journey as a football player.
