But with all the good things comes the judgment and trolling; Erika revealed how she has been handling the hate.
Recently, in an interview with Fox News Digital, Erika, who played the role of 'Shauni McClain' on Baywatch from 1989 to 1992, revealed that she thought she would get a lot of hate for joining OnlyFans. However, she was surprised when people gave her a positive review.
Erika claimed that she got the chance to reconnect with people who have watched her grow and loved her work in E.T. and Baywatch. She revealed that she never thought that joining OnlyFans would help her reach so many of her fans. She said:
"When I first thought about joining OnlyFans, I honestly believed I was going to hate it. But I have to tell you, I absolutely love it. It has given me this incredible opportunity to reconnect with so many wonderful people who have followed my career since the 1980s, from ‘E.T.’ to ‘Baywatch,’ my Playboy days, ‘The Beverly Hillbillies,’ and everything in between."
Erika also talked about the backlash for joining OnlyFans. She said people have warmly welcomed her and cheered her on as she started a bold new phase of her life at 57. However, some people were not happy. She said she is unaffected, as people have something to say no matter what someone starts. She chose to ignore the trolls.
Erika added that the stigma around joining OnlyFans has changed over the years, and it has become a part of a modern-day fan club, where you can directly interact with your fans, especially for women in the entertainment industry. She added that it is the best way to control your own image, and that joining the adult content creation website was a perfect decision for her.
Erika is confident and ready for the OnlyFans chapter in her career. Last week, a report revealed that Erika has been making more than USD 10,000 per week since she joined the adult content creation platform in August 2026. For those who don't know, OnlyFans is a platform that allows creators such as celebrities, athletes and sex workers to charge subscribers for their content directly.
Earlier, Erika revealed that back in the day she was insecure about wearing a swimsuit on camera for the shooting of Baywatch. Talking about the type of content she has been sharing on OnlyFans, she said she has been keeping it personal, playful, and unfiltered. She also revealed that she has been taking the unusual feet requests of her fans. She said:
"There are a lot of people who like feet. Usually, when you get a request for something with feet, it can be a little funny. It can be a little odd, but to each their own. But I really was surprised feet were very popular."
Erika also revealed that in her 50s, she is happy embracing her sexy side. She shared that she feels sexy and confident, which she didn't feel in her 20s because she was too young. She added that she is flirty but makes sure to keep things classy and spicy.
Another milestone in Erika's career is a guest appearance on Baywatch decades after she hung up her iconic red swimsuit. The show is scheduled to premiere on January 6, 2027.
