Dridam X review

Soon after Dridam premiered on JioHotstar, netizens and critics have shared their reviews on X. A user wrote, "#Dridam A generic investigation thriller with neat written screenplay, also with flaws & evident logic mistakes, took much time to get into the story; after that, it's gripping enough to hold our attention. Interval block & final act were good enough !! Shane Nigam tried his best, & rest did their part well. No songs and maintained the mystery till the end with a satisfying twist. The movie never really got boring. Overall, a decent thriller !! Rating: 3.25/5."

A cinephile penned, "#Dridam starts on a typical Jeethu Joseph note with his usual set of actors, leading to an average first half. However, the fast-paced second half, followed by a terrific climax, lifts the movie considerably. And yes, there's a terrific reference to #Drishyam as well. Shane Nigam was superb as a rookie cop, supported by a dependable cast. As usual, some of the new faces turned out to be weak links. Easily watchable and maybe a sleeper hit !! #Drishyam3 #Mohanlal #Dridam." Calling the plot predictable, a user wrote:

"Review Dridam. A crime thriller drama. As a thriller able to engage till the end. In screenplay writing, needed to be more conviction. Misleading factors. Felt like predictable. After sometimes its gets overdone to reach a climax. Twist was just ok, one of the guesses. The climax fight tried to be different, but the execution doesn’t. Not so appealing. Shane Nigam as a cop. Missfits. Verdict: Average."

A third user wrote, "The movie Dridam feels quite slow at every moment. But the climax definitely feels a bit better. It does not exactly have a wow factor. But it does surprise you, #Dridam." A fourth user penned, "The biggest strength of the movie is definitely the climax. Suspense portions are engaging, and the final 15 minutes are superb. Excellent screen presence from #ShaneNigam. Overall, a well-executed good thriller #Dridam." Giving an overview, a user wrote:

"#Dridam A decent one-time watchable crime investigation thriller decent first half & good second half & climax."
