For the unversed, in 2024, Blake filed a complaint against Justin and accused him of sexual harassment, breach of contract, emotional distress, and trying to damage her reputation with a coordinated smear campaign. Earlier, in April 2026, a federal judge, Lewis Liman, dismissed the majority of Blake’s claims. Amid this, Blake and Ryan’s playful moment caught attention.

Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively came together for the film, It Ends With Us. Blake was the female lead, and Justin was both the director and the male lead of the film. After the film’s release, in December 2024, Blake filed a complaint against her co-star, Justin, accusing him of sexual harassment, breach of contract, emotional distress, and trying to damage her reputation with a coordinated smear campaign. She claimed that Justin had body-shamed her and asked her trainer about her weight.
Justin was also allegedly worried about lifting Blake for several scenes in the film, It Ends With Us. Blake alleged that Justin crossed the professional boundaries and went on kissing her even when the script didn't call for it. She also claimed that Justin showed her a clip of his wife giving birth while she was breastfeeding. On the other hand, Justin denied all the claims. He filed a USD 400 million countersuit against Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for defamation.
However, that countersuit was dismissed in 2025, making the legal matters more complicated for both parties. Later, in April 2026, U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman dismissed Blake’s 10 of the 13 claims against Justin Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios. According to an exclusive TMZ report, Blake settled her legal battle with Justin in May 2026, and no money was paid as part of the settlement.
Blake first met Ryan in 2010 on the sets of Green Lantern. At the time, Ryan was married to actress, Scarlett Johansson, while Blake was dating actor, Penn Badgley. However, by the end of 2010, the pair parted ways with their respective partners. In June 2011, Ryan and Blake hit the red carpet for Green Lantern together as costars. After four months, in October 2011, the duo sparked dating rumours.
On September 9, 2012, Blake and Ryan got married at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. On May 5, 2014, the pair made their red carpet debut as a couple. Later that year, in December 2014, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named James. Later, Blake and Ryan welcomed three more children, daughters, Inez and Betty and son, Olin.
