Television actor, Atharv Karve is all set to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Sakshi Mahajan. For those who do not know, Atharv is best known for playing the role of young 'Dr BR Ambedkar' in the show, Ek Mahanayak- Dr B.R. Ambedkar. On the other hand, Sakshi is a Marathi actress, who has appeared in shows like Kon Hotis Tu Kaay Zaalis Tu, Majhi Manasa, Ude Ga Ambe and more. Recently, Atharv Karve opened up about his wedding plans with Sakshi Mahajan.
Recently, TV actor, Atharv Karve had a candid conversation with News18, during which he opened up about his relationship with Sakshi Mahajan and also shared insights on their wedding plans. He shared that he will tie the knot with Sakshi in February 2026, in an intimate ceremony held in Pune. Talking about the wedding, Atharv Karve was quoted as saying:
"We wanted something personal, not rushed. Just a few ceremonies, time with our families, and a chance to really enjoy each moment together."
Atharv Karve further explained that the ceremonies will take place within two days. The wedding festivities will include traditional Maharashtrian rituals. The Harishchandrachi Factory actor also mentioned that the wedding has been planned very beautifully, so that the couple is able to spend time with their loved ones. In his words:
"Marriage isn’t just one day, it’s the start of living life together. I’m thrilled that it’s with Sakshi. It feels amazing to start this journey with her by my side."
During the same interview with News18, actor, Atharv Karve shed light onto his relationship with Sakshi Mahajan. He revealed that the first time they shared a screen together was as a married couple. Atharv shared that he never imagined that the scene would convert into reality. Atharv also described his lady love, Sakshi as ‘talented’, ‘grounded’ and someone who brings a lot of warmth in his life. Atharv Karve shared:
"She’s not just talented, she’s grounded and brings a lot of warmth. Being around her makes everything lighter. We understand each other in ways words can’t always explain. It’s funny, our first scenes together were as a married couple on screen. Who knew that years later, we’d be doing the real thing? We’ve had our ups and downs like everyone else, but being together has always felt right."
For those who do not know, Atharv Karve is a popular TV actor, who has gradually built a name for himself in Indian television and film. He has often been praised for his versatility and on-screen charm. He began his career as a child actor and appeared in Marathi films like Harishchandrachi Factory and Balgandharva. Later, he rose to fame with Ek Mahanayak- Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
On the other hand, Atharv's to-be-wife, Sakshi Mahajan started her journey with Vithu Mauli. Later, she appeared in Prem Poison Panga, Mere Sai, Majhi Manasa, Ude Ga Ambe and more. She also participated in Aata Hou De Dhingana. Atharv and Sakshi first shared screens in Vithu Mauli. The two became good friends on the show, which eventually blossomed into love. Reportedly, Atharv and Sakshi also faced long-distance for a while.
