A woman named Angie Baez is currently hogging the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. For those unaware, she went viral after videos captured her emptying the Knicks' trash can onto a New York street before making the decision to steal it. The incident reportedly took place during the recent Knicks Championship parade. Well, Angie's actions not only got the internet talking but also got her fired from JPMorgan Chase, the company where she worked.

Angie Baez's JPMorgan Chase earnings are in focus amid her firing from the company 

Now that JPMorgan Chase has decided to part ways with Angie Baez after her video from the Knicks Championship parade went viral, many are curious about how much she was earning before she was fired. Well, it is worth mentioning that Angie’s earnings are not publicly disclosed. However, Jon Najarian, a market expert and options strategist, revealed how much she could be making based on Glassdoor data. For those unaware, the platform provides information on jobs and careers, as well as salaries and company reviews.

Jon Najarian took to his X (formerly Twitter) to share that Angie Baez was likely earning between USD 250,000 and USD 350,000 in total annual compensation at JPMorgan Chase. This also includes her bonus and equity, in addition to her base salary. He wrote:

“Angie Baez was likely making around USD 250k-USD 350k+ in total annual compensation (based+bonus+equity) as an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase in New York. glassdoor.com via @grok.” 

Notably, this is just an estimate, and Angie Baez's actual income from the time that she was still working for JPMorgan is not known. According to reports, Angie was made the Executive Director of Community and Industry Engagement for Card and Connected Commerce at JPMorgan Chase over a year ago. Before this, she was working at the New York-based review website The Infatuation as the Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Her bio on the website says:

Police reveal if Angie Baez was charged with any offence after her viral trash can incident 

As we mentioned, the incident occurred during a parade after the New York Knicks' NBA championship victory. In videos circulating on social media, Angie Baez, who was dressed in Knicks' apparel, appeared to be tipping the contents of a trash can onto the sidewalk before carrying the bin away. The footage had led to a wave of criticism online. Soon after this, JPMorgan Chase revealed that Angie was no longer employed at the company. A spokesperson for them shared during an interview, “This employee is no longer with the company.” Additionally, the New York City Department of Sanitation criticised Angie's conduct and said:

“Dumping trash onto the street and stealing public property for your own personal use are both illegal, antisocial behaviours, and not what New Yorkers do. On top of all that, doing both on camera is incredibly stupid.”

However, despite all the backlash that Angie faced, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) said that as of June 20, 2026, they have not received any formal complaints related to the incident. They also said that Angie has not been charged with any offence.
