Indian actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has proved her mettle in acting over the years of her career in the South Indian film industry, and now she is slowly getting her grip over Bollywood as well. After dating for eight years, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had tied the knot with Naga Chaitanya on October 6, 2017. But before they could step into their 4th wedding anniversary, the couple had called it quits and had issued a statement on their respective social media handles. The note could be read as:
"To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during the difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support."

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a very interactive person and loves to communicate with her fans through Q&A sessions or live sessions. Every now and then, she shares pictures from her daily life to keep her followers updated. In one such Ask Me Anything session, one of her fans had asked about her pregnancy, and the actress had the right answer to reply. Samantha had taken to her IG handle and had given a befitting response:
"For all those interested in the functioning of my body, I'm gonna have a baby on August 7th, 7 am, Twenty Twenty two (2022)."
Samantha has always found a way to put an end to all these speculations. In one such interview session with DNA, she had shared how her child will be her world, and she would give everything to make her child's upbringing as smooth as possible. She had said:
"When I have a child, that child is going to be my universe. I had the greatest respect for working mothers. My childhood was not very rosy. For all adults, who haven't had a very rosy childhood, the first thing they will tell you is that they want to give their child everything that they did not have. That's something that has stuck with me. So I think the first few years after I have a child, I would not be anywhere. That child will be everything for me."

In one of the old interviews, Samantha had opened up about her and Naga Chaitanya's family planning. Talking about the same, the Super Deluxe actress had mentioned:
“I have put a date as to when I want my baby. The date has been fixed! Like, as if that’s going to happen according to the date we have fixed! But Chay (Naga Chaitanya) seems to be certain that it will happen on the assigned date!”
