The couple embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter, Vamika, in 2021. Virat and Anushka are each other's biggest supporters, setting the bar for couple goals really high. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in 2017 after dating for almost four years. During an interview with Wrogn, Virat Kohli opened up about his relationship with his wife, Anushka Sharma. Reflecting on the same, he shared how he and Anushka met as two individuals and their journey eventually evolved. Further adding how they are growing as people, Virat said:
“The personalities and the identities are subsiding very quickly, and that is an amazing process. It is a blessing, the continuous effort we put into self-improvement."

Further, Virat Kohli revealed the valuable lessons he learnt from Anushka Sharma and revealed how she taught him to stand by the truth, no matter what. The cricketer added how his wife always told him not to worry about anything if he is standing by the truth. He shared that Anushka's learning is due to her upbringing and her father being in the army and added:
"I have learned from Anushka how to stand by the truth when no one else is willing to believe you or even listen to what you have to say - she always told me you know if you are standing by truth then you don't have to worry about anything because the path will carve itself out and things will always be clean and separated."
Reflecting on Anushka's motherhood journey with the arrival of their daughter, Vamika, Virat shared how he was amazed by the transformation. Talking about the strength it takes to become a mother, Virat shared how Anushka has been juggling her career and motherhood. The cricketer added that seeing your life partner become a mother is a blessing and said:
"When you see a life partner become a mother that's when you realise and understand the strength of a mother. The way Anushka handled everything is amazing and astonishing, she shot a whole film in between.”
