“Shilpa Shetty was my senior by a couple of years. She was always the hottie. I remember she was also a basketball player and my mom one day decided that I should play basketball. At six in the morning, I was sent off to play basketball and there were already murmurs that Shilpa might be joining the movies. She was so sweet, I will never forget, she taught me how to dribble the ball. I thought now I know everything and told my mom, I have learnt, I don’t have to go early morning from tomorrow.”
Going further in the interview, Vidya also spoke about another hot actress, Malaika Arora whom she had frequently seen passing by her lane in her childhood. Moreover, she also emphasised how boys would await her arrival in the lane at a certain point of time. She mentioned:
“There was also Malaika Arora. She was from another school, but she would walk down the lane at a particular time for her French tuition, which was on my lane, and all the boys would be sitting out at that time, waiting for Malaika to pass! Just Chembur has produced too many hotties, what to do!”
In one of her recent interviews with YouTuber, Ranveer Allahabadia, Vidya Balan opened up about why initially, she never thought of getting married in her life. In the same interview, Vidya also opened up on her first meeting with her husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur and added how her perception of men changed randomly on meeting with him.
