Upasana Kamineni and her actor husband, Ram Charan are all set to enter the parents league soon. For the unversed, they tied the knot in June 2012 in a grand ceremony in Hyderabad. And after being in marital bliss for more than a decade, they announced their pregnancy in December 2022. As per reports, Upasana's due date is in July 2023. Ever since they delighted their fans with their 'good news', the couple has been constantly posting glimpses from Upasana's pregnancy diaries. Now, she gave a sneak peek into her soon-to-be-born baby's wooden cradle.
Taking to her IG handle on June 17, 2023, Upasana Kamineni shared a video, featuring stunning glimpses of her soon-to-be-born baby's wooden cradle. At the beginning of the video, we can spot Upasana posing with the wooden cradle which was beautifully designed with unique carvings and a strong grip. She looked gorgeous as always in a maroon-printed salwar suit. Following this, we can also see glimpses of how the cradle was handcrafted by incredible women survivors of sex trafficking.

Along with the same video, Upasana showed her gratitude towards the women survivors of sex trafficking who handcrafted the piece. The wooden cradle was beautifully made by the young women of the Prajwala Foundation and is of great value for Upasana and Ram. She wrote in the caption that she wants her kid to be acquainted with the women survivors' journey of transformation and self-respect since their birth. Upasana's caption can be read as:
"We are honoured & humbled to receive this heartfelt gift from the incredible young women of #PrajwalaFoundation. This handcrafted cradle holds immense significance, symbolizing strength, resilience, and hope. It represents a journey of transformation and self-respect that I want my child to be exposed to from birth."

Earlier, in a conversation with the ETimes, Upasana revealed the kind of preparations she and her darling hubby, Ram have been doing ahead of embracing parenthood. She mentioned having a customised wallpaper about the Amrabad Tiger Reserve in the child's room along with a baby’s crib prepared by a charity in Hyderabad with the largest number of HIV+ women under one roof. The doting mom-to-be also revealed that everything they are preparing for their to-be-born child would be made with organic fabrics, and the motifs on them also have a meaning and a story.

Ram and Upasana are such power couples, who love collecting memories by going around the world. For instance, in October 2022, they visited Japan along with the other team members of RRR. Apart from promoting the film, the couple also spent some quality time together. Later, in an interview, Ram revealed why Japan is his favourite place and has a special connection with his wife, Upasana Kamineni's pregnancy. The actor revealed that Upasana is seven months pregnant, and the magic happened in Japan.
