RRR fame, Ram Charan is currently on cloud nine as he and his wife, Upasana Kamineni are all set to become parents after ten years of marital bliss. While the duo is waiting to welcome their first child, their fans are equally excited to see their favourite couple become parents. From a fun-filled babymoon to lavish baby showers and intimate parties, Upasana's pregnancy has been very exciting.
Recently, Ram Charan attended the G20 Summit in Srinagar and spilled the beans on why the beautiful country of Japan holds a special place in his heart. When the actor was asked about his habit of collecting artefacts from the various countries he visits, he said that earlier Europe was his favourite destination, but now Japan is his new favourite. Talking about the same, he said:
“I don’t know where it comes from because I am not much into artefacts… but something that’s meaningful and something that connects me to that city and makes me remember of the place. Europe has always been my favourite place. Now, Japan has become my new favourite country… the culture… the people. It is a special country, I will tell you why.”

Revealing why Japan is his favourite place, Ram Charan shared that it has a special connection with his wife, Upasana Kamineni and their soon-to-be-born baby. Speaking about his wife's pregnancy, the actor revealed that Upasana is seven months pregnant and the magic happened in Japan. He revealed:
“My wife… she is currently carrying. She is in her seventh month. The magic happened in Japan.”
For the unversed, in October 2022, Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni visited Japan along with the other team members of RRR. Apart from promoting the film, the couple also took some time out to see the country and enjoyed some quality time together. Being quite active on social media, Upasana updated her fans with some stunning pictures and videos from the trip on her Instagram handle. In the pictures, the power couple was seen dressed in off-white attire as they happily posed for the camera. And later, on December 12, 2022, Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni announced the news of expecting their first child together.

In an interview with Mid Day, Upasana Kamineni opened up about embracing motherhood for the first time. Talking about planning her first pregnancy, Upasana revealed that she and Ram Charan had decided on egg-freezing early in their marriage as they both wanted to focus on their careers. However, now that both of them are earning well and can provide a luxurious life for their child, they decided to have a child. In her words:
"Ram and I took a call very early in our marriage when it comes to storing our eggs. We definitely believed that for various reasons we need to focus on our careers at that point of time. Today, both of us are at a stable place where we can afford to take care of the child with the income we are generating by ourselves and give our child that lifestyle and stability. We didn't let anything in the way of our thoughts and I think that is something I respect a lot in our relationship."
