The beautiful Delhi girl is no less famous than her superstar hubby, thanks to her beauty and the doting wifey that she is! For all those who were living under the rock until now, Shahid and Mira are expecting their second child in October, 2018. The couple is already blessed with an adorable daughter, Misha Kapoor.
As Mira is on her third trimester, the to-be parents hosted a private baby shower ceremony at their Mumbai residence on July 15, 2018. And needless to say, Mira looked radiant in a boat neck polka-dotted pregnancy dress which was super-stylish and also flaunted her baby bump. The doting hubby, Shahid has ensured that Mira is pampered at her best while she is pregnant. Hence, the Batti Gul Meter Chalu star took out Mira for an intimate lunch date. And Mira surely knows how to flaunt her baby bump like a pro. The couple looked very much in love as they entered the restaurant. Mira took to Instagram and posted a beautiful picture with her hubby and captioned the picture as, “Happiness... beside me and inside me". So cute, isn’t it?
Just like any preggy mommy-to-be, Mira finds it difficult to sleep due to 2am baby kicks in the night. The actress, who has been actively sharing her activities and feeling via her Insta story pregnancy diary, shared the same where she wrote, “You know when you feel like you have butterflies in your stomach... At yet another instance some time back, the beautiful mommy-to-be again took to Instagram to share some momma-thoughts. She wrote, “That weird phase when your jeans don’t fit and Maternity jeans are too big.” Here’s the story:
Shahid was supposed to take a paternity leave and take some time off to spend some quality time with his family and go on a babymoon. But prior work commitments has led to a postponement in the plan. As per a report in Mid-Day, a source close to the couple revealed, "Shahid had decided to spend quality time with Mira and Misha [daughter] in June before he begins training for Arjun Reddy. But now that the Batti Gul schedule is likely to run into June, he has called off the trip. He wants to ensure that his commitment to this film doesn't spill over to that of Arjun Reddy, the shoot of which is lined up for July."
Speaking of the cute announcement of Mira’s pregnancy and welcoming a new member in their family, Shahid shared in an interview, "Yes, of course. I'm very happy. We just felt like sharing it with everybody. Mira said she wanted to put it out on Instagram and I thought the photograph was really cute. It was a spontaneous decision and it just happened. It's feeling really good. There's still time. This is the second time, so it doesn't feel new, the first time it felt very new. But it's always very exciting and we are really looking forward to having another new member in the family. It's an amazing feeling."
