Recently, we stumbled upon the pictures of an Indian-origin bride, who ditched the traditional outfits and instead wore something totally extraordinary, and we are totally in for it. Alaiia Gujral, a Chicago-based Indian artist, wore a sculpted corset for her big day. And, oh boy, she looked ethereal in that beautiful corset. Alaiia merged tradition with avant-garde fashion by adorning a custom-designed sculpted corset for her wedding celebrations in Udaipur.
Alaiia’s corset top was by the label, Misho, a Mumbai-based brand by a designer named Suhani Parekh. The brand is popular for its artsy and innovative designs. It has constantly been a pick by popular celebrities such as Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, Alia Bhatt, Kendall Jenner, and many more.

The bride, Alaiia Gujral, donned a custom-made 24k Misho gold corset and paired it with an ivory skirt and cape. The bridal outfit was not just a depiction of the bride’s love for art, but also an embodiment of a legacy passed down from her mother, Feroze Gujral. The bride’s corset was accentuated with an heirloom Temple necklace, a precious gift from her mother that added an immersive emotional depth to her ensemble. To complete her regal look, Alaiia paired her couture corset with a pair of handcrafted baroque pearl earrings. The brand posted a few snaps of Alaiia’s bridal look on their official Instagram account and captioned their post as:
