Tanushree Dutta and Emraan Hashmi’s hit on-screen pairing back in the 2000s was the most gossiped matter. The duo starred in some coming-of-the-age romantic films, such as Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Chocolate, Good Boy Bad Boy and others. Apart from their infectious camaraderie on-screen, it was their sensuous scenes and chemistry that created quite a stir. And now, Tanushree Dutta talked about the same.
In an interview with Filmgyan, Tanushree Dutta recalled doing some of the most talked-about romantic films with Emraan Hashmi. The diva precisely addressed the controversial steamy kissing scenes that she performed with the actor and spilled beans on the kind of equation that she shared with him. Tanushree revealed:
“Emraan, for me, has always been an actor from Day 1. I did three films with him. We shot for a kissing scene in ‘Chocolate’ too, but they didn’t keep it. It was very awkward the first time. The second time, the awkwardness was reduced. Because personally, in real life, we don’t have any chemistry with each other. He does have a kisser-boy image, but he is not the most comfortable kisser. And neither am I.”

In one of her social media posts back in 2020, Tanushree Dutta had talked about her chances of making a comeback. The diva admitted falling short of work opportunities, especially after her embroilment with the #MeToo controversy. Nevertheless, the actress highlighted being approached for some work. Revealing more about it, she had said:
"I have been getting some offers from Bollywood in terms of movies and web series. At present, I'm in touch with 3 big South film managers who are pitching me for Big budget south Projects as well as 12 Casting offices in Mumbai."
Apart from her acting career, Tanushree Dutta often grabs the headlines for her bold opinions and fearless voice. Time and again, the diva has attempted to speak the truth, without worrying about its consequences. For instance, a few months, Tanushree, in a press conference, accused actress, Rakhi Sawant for being the major reason behind her marriage getting cancelled in 2018.

Tanushree created a stir in the media, when she accused talented actor, Nana Patekar of sexually abusing her during a common shoot. While her claims didn’t have any concrete proof, in one of the other interviews with The Times Of India, Tanushree claimed receiving death threats after she made such shocking allegations against the actor. Revealing details on the same, she had mentioned that her car brakes were tampered with, and even a maid was planted in her home, in order to poison and kill her.
