Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput's demise, the investigation on suicide or murder being the reason behind it has been taking a different turn every second. After a probe from Sushant's family, friends and fans, the central government had finally handed his case to the CBI from Mumbai and Bihar police. While #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput is a battle that his family is fighting for him, not even a single day passes by when they don't remember him. Sushant's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, who is quite active on social media, posts fond memories of the actor on her feed. On the pious occasion of Raksha Bandhan on August 3, 2020, it was Sushant Singh Rajput's sisters, Nitu Singh, Meetu Singh, Priyanka Singh and Shweta Singh Kirti, who had missed their brother's presence on this festival of siblings. Shweta had posted a throwback picture of the siblings, where a baby Sushant could be seen surrounded by his sisters, tying rakhi to him. Shweta had captioned it, "Happy Rakshabandhan mera sweet sa baby... bahut pyaar karte hain hum aapko jaan... aur hamesha karte rahenge... you were, you are and you will always be our PRIDE! @sushantsinghrajput #happyrakshabandhan." To which, Sushant's ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande had commented, "Diiiiiiiii" followed by a heart emoticon.
A few hours back, Shweta Singh Kirti posted an interview clip of her brother, Sushant Singh Rajput, where he had answered who he is closest to amongst his sisters and what is the most Pavitra Rishta for him. Shweta captioned the video as "He admits he was closest to his sister Priyanka (Sonu Di) because she gets him... #Warriors4SSR #justiceforsushant #godiswithus." Priyanka being the closest to Sushant, he had once written a letter to her as per a Republic World report.
Calling Priyanka Singh his ‘Sona Chidiya’ from Sonchiriya (golden bird and one of Sushant Singh Rajput's films), the doting brother had called his sister the 'keeper of my mother's light'. Sushant's letter could be read as “For my BEST ‘Sona Chidiya’!From the immense width of my soul, to the depth & web of my knowledge, & then the ‘deserving’ keeper of my mother’s light, in the dark unfolding of my judgement, You are my marker & You are my fact, & then you are my ‘ravishing’ sister, are also my pauses in my ‘betweens’... To mark Raksha Bandhan 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Priyanka Singh had shared a throwback picture with her brother on Twitter, and the sibling duo had posed with their dog. Speaking of the void his demise has created in their lives, Priyanka had tweeted, "Missing u immensely my soulmate @itsSSR; you will always be in my heart.... no words to describe the void."
After Sushant Singh Rajput's demise, Shweta Singh Kirti had penned a eulogy for her 'baby' brother. Posting a picture of Sushant and a handwritten card given to her by him, Shweta had begun her note expressing the immense love she has for him, "Mera baby, mera Babu mera Bachcha is not physically present with us anymore and it is ok... I know u were in a lot of pain and I know u were a fighter and u were bravely fighting it. Sorry mera Sona... sorry for all the pain u had to go through...if I could I would have taken all ur pain and given all my happiness to u. Your twinkling eyes taught the world how to dream, ur innocent smile revealed the true purity of ur heart. You will always be loved mera Baby and so so much more... Wherever ur mera baby stay happy....stay fulfilled and know that everyone loved, loves u and will always love you unconditionally."
Urging everyone to be compassionate to not only themselves but everyone around, Shweta Singh Kirti's note had further stated, "All my dear ones... I know it is testing time... but whenever there is choice... choose love above hatred, choose kindness and compassion above anger and resentment choose selflessness above selfishness and forgive... forgive yourself, forgive others and forgive everyone. Everybody is fighting their own battles... be compassionate to yourself and be compassionate to others and everyone. Let not ur heart close everrrrrr, at any cost!!!! #Sushantsinghrajput."
