In an interview with Filmygyan, Supriya Pathak recently opened up about her bond with Ishaan Khatter. Carefully choosing her words, Supriya revealed that she had nothing to do with Ishaan as they did not meet that often. She talked about Shahid and added that he often gives her updates about his life. Supriya also added that Shahid loved her show, Khichdi. She was quoted as saying:
"I don't have very much to do wish Ishaan because we do not meet that often and he is not...Uhmm Shahid yes. We do have, uhmm, he do give me an update. He loved the first Khichdi."

On February 9, 2023, Shahid hosted the premiere of his upcoming web series, Farzi. In a video that went viral on the internet, we could see the cutesy camaraderie of Shahid with his stepmom, Supriya. He was super happy to see her at the premiere and hugged her tightly. Shahid's father, Pankaj, who was standing right next to her, looked super happy.

Once, Mira shared how her mother-in-law, Supriya Pathak, made a scrumptious Gujarati thali for her, and also quipped that she made a 'saras Gujju thaali, and not a khichdi by Hansa.'
