The actor, who was last seen in the film, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, shares a warm bond with his brother, Vicky Kaushal and his bhabhi, Katrina Kaif. As September 28, 2023, marked his birthday, Sunny got a sweet wish from Katrina Kaif.
Katrina Kaif took to her IG handle and shared an unseen picture from her haldi ceremony to wish her devar, Sunny Kaushal on his birthday. In the photo, Vicky Kaushal and Sunny were seen twinning in white-hued traditional outfits. While Vicky donned an embroidered kurta teamed with a matching salwar, Sunny opted for a matching kurta pyjama. Sharing the photo, the Tiger 3 actress wrote:
"Happy birthday to the best Devar."

We also got hold of a video from Sunny Kaushal's midnight birthday celebration. The actor began his special day in the presence of his family members and some close friends. In the video, Sunny was seen dressed in a white shirt and black jeans as he blew the candle and cut his birthday cake. His brother, Vicky Kaushal also made an appearance in the video, and he looked dapper in his casual ensemble styled with a hat.
Sunny beamed with happiness as he celebrated his special day with his parents. The video also showed his parents, Sham Kaushal and Veena Kaushal, clapping and singing the birthday song. While Sunny's close ones were present on the occasion, his darling bhabhi, Katrina Kaif was seen missing from the celebrations. Katrina's absence raised many eyebrows as she is extremely close to her devar, and she wouldn't miss the celebration on his big day at any cost.

Once, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sunny Kaushal opened up about his relationship with his bhabhi, Katrina Kaif and shared that they’re just like ‘good friends’. Speaking along the same lines, Sunny revealed the special thing that his bhabhi, Katrina Kaif, has done for him so far. He shared that on one of his birthdays, Katrina had bought a hyper-realistic sneaker cake, which was a replica of Sunny’s favourite pair of shoes. Sunny had said:
"I love sneakers so on my birthday two years ago, she got a really big sneaker shaped cake, my favourite sneakers. I wasn’t expecting that but that was sweet."
