Bollywood actor, Sunny Deol has been basking in a lot of glory and success with his latest release, Gadar 2. After enjoying the magnanimous success of his comeback film and completing the promotions, Sunny is back to performing his duties as a son. For the unversed, Sunny is the elder son of Dharmendra and his first wife, Prakash Kaur, and if reports are to be believed, the actor has taken his dad, Dharmendra to the US for a medical check-up. But it looks like the ongoing rumours are false.
According to a report in the ETimes, a source close to the Deol family revealed that Sunny Deol has taken his parents, Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur, to the US on a holiday. The trio jetted off on a vacation of 15-20 days to meet the actor's sisters, Vijeta and Ajeeta, who are settled in Los Angeles. The loving son took this decision a few days after his mother, Prakash turned a year older. The report further added that Sunny's brother, Bobby Deol couldn't accompany them due to his professional commitments.

Amid all the speculations, Sunny Deol also put an end to the rumours with his latest social media post. On September 11, 2023, the actor took to his IG handle and shared a series of pictures from his holiday in California. In the picture, Sunny posed for a happy picture with one of his close friends, Vinit, as they celebrated the latter's birthday together. Sunny penned:
"Celebrated Vinit birthday in California."
Earlier, a report in India Today stated that Sunny Deol jetted off to the US for his father, Dharmendra's treatment, and the duo will stay there for almost 20 days. A source close to the actor shared that Dharmendra, who is 87 years old, has been suffering from health issues, and Sunny has decided to take him to the US for further treatment. The source was quoted as saying:
"Dharam sir is currently 87 years old and been have health issues, hence for further treatment, Sunny decided to his father to USA. They will be staying in US for 15-20 days or as long as the treatment goes. There is nothing to worry about."

Meanwhile, Dharmendra's first wife, Prakash Kaur turned a year older on September 1, 2023, and she got the sweetest wish from her elder son, Sunny Deol. Taking to his IG handle, Sunny shared two pictures with his mom, wherein the actor could be seen showering his love on his mother and giving a sweet peck on her forehead. Prakash hugged her son tightly and enjoyed the warmth of his loving embrace. While Sunny looked dapper in a grey-hued shirt, Prakash Kaur donned a simple suit. Sharing the pictures, Sunny penned:
"Mama happy birthday love you."
On the work front, Dharmendra was last seen in the film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
