Sunny Deol has been grabbing a lot of attention, especially in the year 2023. The actor has soared high both personally as well as professionally. Speaking about the latter, the actor gave a blockbuster sucess at the box-office after 22 years with his film, Gadar 2. However, amidst all this, Sunny also created a good rapport with his colleagues in the film industry, with whom he otherwise had a strained relationship for the longest. And now, in a recent interaction, Sunny talked about reconciling with some of his contemporaries.

Sunny Deol’s infamous spat with Shah Rukh Khan is known to everyone. For the unversed, the two actors starred together in the 1993-film, Darr, which leaded to the main reason for their fight. For the unversed, Sunny, who played the protagonist in the film, felt hurt with the immense fame SRK received, despite playing a negative role. As a result, Sunny even vowed to never work with the latter in future. However, fast forward to the bash he held post Gadar 2’s massive success, Shah Rukh Khan stunned everyone by attending the same and reconciling with Sunny publicly. In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Sunny Deol talked about the particular moment of reconciling with SRK and said:

“Everybody has moved ahead in life. and mentally happy, secure with what they have. When they were younger, they weren’t like that. Now everybody is happy and satisfied. Everyone of us knows what wrong or right we did. Time is a healer. It’s best to leave it there. I was so happy that everyone turned up at my party.”

Sunny Deol reveals an amusing conversation he had with Salman Khan

In the same interaction, Sunny also talked about the kind of equation he shares with his other contemporary, Salman Khan. He revealed meeting the latter at his film, Gadar 2’s success party and sharing some interesting conversations with one another. Sunny remarked telling Salman how he never attended any party of the latter, whereas Salman readily attended his success bash. Elucidating more about his own shy nature of avoiding parties, Sunny said:

“I remember whispering into Salman’s ear, tu merko bulata tha apni parties mein, main nahi aata tha, saale tu mere yahaan aa hi gaya. He used to invite me to all his parties. Everyone knows I am not a party person. There was a lot of warmth. Us Deols are blessed. It started with my dad, we followed his way. One never wants to harm anybody, we never do that. I rather say sorry if I have done anything. That’s the kind of person I am. I have no fear of anybody, nobody can take anything away from me. We have always been givers. That’s the way our journey has been. We all are shy.”

Sunny Deol addressed fiasco over his viral drunk video

A few days back, Sunny Deol’s viral video made rounds on the internet, wherein the actor could be seen walking aimlessly in the streets of Mumbai, being fully drunk. However, the video wasn’t a real one, and instead was a part of scene the actor shot for his upcoming film. Previously, in an interaction with Zoom, Sunny talked about the fiasco that was created shortly after the video went viral. He mentioned that he doesn’t drink in real life, and even if he did, he is not a person who would consume alcohol openly on the streets.

Sunny Deol once revealed why he doesn’t really attend Bollywood parties

During his appearance on the first season of the infamous chat show, Koffee With Karan, Sunny Deol talked about his preference of not attending Bollywood parties. He mentioned being an early riser and a little shy. Elaborating more, he said:

“I don’t drink. I’m a little shy guy. For me, after full day’s work I’d rather be somewhere I’m more relaxed. I’m an early riser and these parties go on till late at night.”
