Pictures from Karan and Drisha’s dreamy wedding festivities are all over the internet, and everyone is looking for Karan's buas, Esha and Ahana, and their mother, Hema Malini. The mother-daughter trio gave Karan's wedding a miss, while Dharmendra attended the festivities with his first wife, Prakash Kaur.

Sunny Deol invited Hema Malini's daughters, Esha and Ahana to Karan Deol's wedding

As per the latest reports, it is now claimed that Sunny Deol allegedly invited Hema Malini’s daughters, aka his step-sisters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. According to a report in ABP Live, Sunny performed his brotherly duties and personally reached out to Esha and Ahana to invite them to his son, Karan's wedding festivities. It was also mentioned that Esha and Ahana were supposed to attend the wedding with their respective husbands. Esha Deol's heartfelt wish for her nephew, Karan Deol on his wedding

Esha Deol's absence from her nephew, Karan Deol's wedding raised many eyebrows, as her fans were eager to see her enjoy the festivities to the fullest. However, despite missing the wedding, Esha ensured to send her best wishes to the newly-wedded couple, Karan and Drisha. She took to her Instagram handle and shared a heartfelt note for Karan, and her sweet gesture was enough to convince fans that all is well between the two families. Esha's note can be read as:

When Sunny Deol skipped his step-sister, Esha Deol's wedding in 2012

Coincidentally, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol had chosen to skip their step-sisters, Esha and Ahana’s weddings. It so happened that when Esha tied the knot with Bharat Takhtani in 2012, her half-brothers didn't attend her wedding despite getting the invitation. This sparked speculations of disputes between the two families, as it was their cousin, Abhay Deol, who performed the rituals at Esha's wedding. If reports are to be believed, Sunny and Bobby took the decision to skip Esha's wedding because they didn't want to hurt their mother, Prakash Kaur's sentiments. However, being loving brothers, they sent multiple gifts to their half-sister, Esha, as she marked her new beginnings.

Dharmendra's two wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini

For the unversed, Bollywood actor, Dharmendra got married twice. His first wedding was with Prakash Kaur, with whom he had four children, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeeta and Ajeita. Later, Dharmendra got married for the second time when he tied the knot with Hema Malini in 1980 without divorcing his first wife, Prakash. The duo got blessed with two daughters, Esha and Ahana. However, Dharmendra’s second wedding with Hema was an unconventional one, and it became a hot topic of discussion in the media for the longest time.
