South Korean veteran, Song Hye Kyo needs no introduction. The Descendants Of The Sun actress has been ruling the Hallyu industry for nearly three decades. Song Hye Kyo has recently been awarded the Daesang (grand prize) for her portrayal of ‘Moon Dong Eun’ in the K-drama, The Glory at the Blue Dragon Series Awards. However, apart from her stellar performances, another aspect of Song Hye Kyo that has garnered much attention is her fashion choices.
The 42-year-old actress has time and again dropped the onlooker’s jaws with her sartorial choices, and this time was no different. Song Hye Kyo walked into the award ceremony donned in diamonds estimated to cost around INR 1 crore or more.
Song Hye Kyo walked in the award night wearing gorgeous honeycomb jewellery from the French luxury brand, Chaumet. Her jewellery consisted of hoop earrings encrusted with 18 diamonds on each side, which are worth around INR 17 lakhs. Her ring had eleven diamonds, which cost around INR 10 lakhs. Next comes the highlight of the night, her honeycomb necklace, which was set with 73 VVS diamonds and cost a whopping INR 71 lakhs.
All of Song Hye Kyo’s jewellery combined costs around INR 1 core or more. For the unversed Song, Hye Kyo is also the global brand ambassador of Chaumet, so it was natural for her to show up in the brand’s luxury collection.
It wasn’t just the jewellery that stole the lime but also the alluring gown of Song Hye Kyo. The actress opted for a black silky gown with puffy sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. The gown descended into a beautiful, voluminous ball gown with a cinched waist. The gown was from a South Korean fashion brand, Avou Avou.
We love the entire look of Song Hye Kyo, but the necklace is undoubtedly our favourite piece. Let us know which jewellery piece of Song Hye Kyo you liked the best.
