Even though Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have kept their relationship under the wraps and have made no official confirmation on the same, their ‘love’ has already set tongues wagging. Their frequent appearances together and comments on each other’s Instagram posts have put a stamp on their relationship. We have seen Arjun Kapoor bonding with his 'not-so-rumoured-anymore' muse, Malaika Arora’s son, Arhaan Khan and Malaika celebrating special occasions with the Kapoor clan, but we have never seen her bonding with the Kapoor sisters - Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Rhea Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. As per a Woman’s Era report, Malaika Arora’s behaviour to Arjun Kapoor’s cousin, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had apparently embarrassed her in a party. According to the report, in one of the B-town parties, Malaika was too drunk and when Sonam tried to offer help to her, Malaika asked Sonam to stay away. This left Sonam feeling embarrassed and she was also upset with her rude behaviour. Reportedly, even earlier Sonam didn’t like Malaika that much, and this would have surely added to her dislike.
Recently, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor appeared on a chat show where she was quizzed about her least favourite amongst her brother’s ex-girlfriends. Arjun’s sweetheart sister, Anshula replied, “I have actually liked all his girlfriends. I am friends with all of his exes also.”
While Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas confirmed Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s relationship on Koffee With Karan season 6, their wedding rumours have also been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. According to the latest buzz, Arjun and Malaika are all set to say ‘I do’ in a Christian wedding in April 2019.
On Koffee With Karan, when Karan Johar was quizzing Priyanka Chopra Jonas about what’s happening in Bollywood and who’s dating who, he also asked her about Arjun and Malaika. PeeCee replied that she is aware that Arjun and Malaika are dating, and stretching it further when Karan asked Kareena, “And I believe, you will be a bridesmaid, right?” Kareena shyly gave a smile. To this, Priyanka laughed, and both of them started looking at each other.
In 2018, a media report suggested that Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are too fond of each other and are exploring their relationship. The source had stated, "Arjun and Malaika have started spending quality time together. They are extremely fond of each other and are exploring their beautiful relationship. Let’s not jump the gun here. We should just let them be. Marriage is definitely not on the cards anytime soon for them." Speaking about not hiding their relationship from paparazzi and not shying away from posing for the cameras, a media report could be read as, "Malaika is no longer keen to hide her proximity to Arjun. When she was with Arbaaz, the Khan family, especially Salman, made their disapproval very clear. But now that she has broken away from Arbaaz, she sees no reason to be coy about her closeness to Arjun. Besides, Arbaaz is also seeing someone else now."
When Malaika Arora was contacted by Hindustan Times to comment on her relationship with Arjun Kapoor, she was quoted as saying, "I never answer personal questions. Not that I shy away from answering or whatever. I just don’t feel comfortable talking about my personal life. And whatever my life has been, everyone is aware of it. I don’t need to be talking about it. I am just enjoying my life - it’s beautiful and precious."
About the plush apartment that Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have bought together, a recent report informed, "Arjun and Malaika have together purchased a flat in a plush society near Lokhandwala Complex. It is their joint investment together. Whether they plan to live in or no is entirely up to them. But they are surely getting a space for themselves.
