Popular actress, Somya Seth, who rose to fame with the show, Navya… Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal, tied the knot with her boyfriend, Shubham Chuhadia, on June 22, 2023. For the unversed, Somya left India after her wedding to a US-based businessman, Arun Kapoor, in January 2017. However, the couple got divorced in 2019, and Navya got custody of her son, Ayden.
On August 6, 2023, Somya Seth took to her IG handle and dropped a video from her haldi ceremony. For the unversed, the actress had her haldi and mehendi ceremony on June 21, 2023, with only her and Shubham's immediate families in attendance. For the haldi ceremony, Somya opted for a yellow-hued, one-shouldered, flowy dress and completed her look with pearl jewellery. On the other hand, Shubham was dressed in a white shirt and blue jeans.

Somya Seth also gave a sneak peek into her mehendi ceremony in the wholesome video. The actress donned a floral-printed dress for the intimate event and looked flawless in her minimal look. We can see Shubham putting mehendi on his then-to-be bride's hands, and it was absolutely adorable. Later, we also got a glimpse of the unique design that the actress got etched on her palms. Sharing the video, Somya penned:
"Life filled with love!! That’s the most important need!! It hits differently when your loved ones are the ones putting Mehndi on you!!"

Somya Seth and her husband, Shubham Chuhadia met each other by chance. It so happened that before the pandemic, the actress was looking for a larger apartment for her son, Ayden, since he was growing up fast. And when she rented out a room in the big apartment, Shubham became her housemate. Soon, the duo became friends, and they grew close during the tough pandemic times and then decided to be together ever since. For the unversed, Shubham is from Chittorgarh, and he is an architect by profession and works for a firm in Washington, DC.

Somya Seth's first marriage didn't work out well, as she was in an abusive relationship back then. However, in an interview with the Bombay Times, when the actress was asked if she had any apprehensions about falling in love again in life, she responded negatively. Sharing how Shubham fits perfectly well in her life, Somya said:
"Not at all! I had no apprehensions because it was just normal to be with him. It was more like we fit into the puzzle perfectly kind of feeling."
