Navya… Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal actress, Somya Seth left India and her flourishing TV career, post her wedding to a US-based businessman beau, Arun Kapoor in January 2017. And in August 2017, they were blessed with a son, Ayden. However, soon due to troubles in their marriage, they got separated. Not only that, she was in the 'Safe house' for quite some time, where women suffering from domestic abuse used to stay to heal the trauma. Now, Navya and Arun have joint custody of their son, Ayden. And the former actress has already restarted her life with her new boyfriend. On Father's Day, she introduced her boyfriend to her massive fanbase.
Taking to her IG handle on June 18, 2023, Somya Seth shared a series of pictures of her son, Ayden and her new boyfriend, Shubham Chuhadia. In the pictures, Shubham was seen spending some beautiful time with the little boy. From going on vacations to posing with stunning backdrops, the duo was seen enjoying the little moments of joy. Along with the pictures, Somya thanked Shubham and wrote:
"Thank you @shub1893 for being you!! We Love you!!"

Somya also shared another video on her IG handle, featuring several glimpses of herself along with her son, Ayden and her boyfriend, Shubham. The beautiful pictures also proved Shubham's bond with Ayden. In addition, we can also hear a voiceover along with the video, which can be quoted as "I'm gonna talk about real dad today, not a father, I'm gonna talk about dad. Anybody can be a father, take a real man, he will be a dad." Moreover, Somya penned a heartfelt note for Shubham and thanked him for being the mother-son duo's backbone. Somya's caption can be read as:
"Happy Father’s Day @shub1893 Every day we are so grateful for you!! Day after day - our respect and love for you only grows!! Thank you for all that you do every day for this family. Thank you for always puttingAyden and his needs first. Thank you for always being there. Thank you for being the perfect role model in our lives. You are loved and celebrated every day!!"

Earlier, in an interview with The Times Of India, Somya Seth talked about her life after her divorce from her ex-husband, Arun Kapoor. The former actress mentioned how she had suicidal thoughts during that phase. However, it was only her pregnancy, which saved her from giving up on life. She had said:
"I am in Virginia, USA, and I am enjoying motherhood to the fullest. I got divorced in June 2019. I'm in a happy place. I feel so loved by my family and especially by my son Ayden, who is three and a half years old. That was in 2017, right before Ayden was born, I was married and pregnant and trying to figure out ways to commit suicide until my parents came to Virginia. They tried to help me and brought me back from the brink."

Further, in the same conversation, Somya mentioned suffering from domestic violence in her marriage with Arun and mentioned how she was completely bruised. Somya also revealed that she couldn't look in the mirror for days. However, her thoughts of harming herself were brushed away when she thought she couldn't harm her child. She had added:
"I remember this one time when I was standing in front of the mirror, unable to recognise my own self. I was completely bruised. I didn't eat for several days even though I was pregnant. I couldn't dare to look at the mirror for a few days and when I finally did, I just wanted to end my life. However, I was pregnant. And that's when I felt that if I die my child would not know how much I love him/her. He would have to live without a mother for the rest of his life. I could kill myself but could never think of harming my own child. So yes, that's how my son Ayden saved my life."
