Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik's marriage has reportedly hit a rough patch, and all is not well between the couple. For a long time, reports were abuzz that the couple is facing some issues in their happy paradise and they are allegedly divorced. While there has been an unending buzz on the internet regarding Sania and Shoaib's separation, no official confirmation was made on the same by either of them. However, now Shoaib reignited his divorce reports with Sania, hinting at their possible separation.
Recently, Shoaib Malik changed his Instagram bio, reigniting the rumours of his tumultuous marriage with Sania Mirza. The couple's fans were quick to note a significant modification to the cricketer's Instagram bio, and they were sure that things are not going well for the couple. For the unversed, Shoaib's former bio stated that he was the 'husband to a superwoman @mirzasaniar', which has now been erased. The cricketer's bio now simply reads, 'Father to One True Blessing', along with other information.

Earlier, in an interview with Geo News Programme, Score, Shoaib Malik was asked about the ongoing rumours about his and Sania Mirza's troubled marriage. Responding to the same, Shoaib said that he wanted to spend time with Sania on Eid, but they could not do that because of their respective professional commitments. Shoaib added that he misses Sania a lot and had recently jetted off to Dubai to spend some time with their son, Izhaan. In his words:
"Nothing on it. On Eid I would like to say that had we been together it would have been great. But she has got commitments in IPL. She is doing shows in IPL. That's why we are not together. We share love like always. I miss her a lot, that I can say. When Sania and Izhan went to perform Umrah I had commitments here, and when I took a break and went to Dubai to spend time with Izhaan."
While the real reason for Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik’s split is unknown, many gossip columns suggested that Shoaib Malik had reportedly cheated on his wife, Sania Mirza with famous Pakistani model and actress, Ayesha Omar. Sometime back, many close pictures of Ayesha and Shoaib made their way to the internet, shocking the netizens. However, later Ayesha clarified that there was nothing between them.

Sania Mirza tied the knot with Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik, on April 12, 2010, and after almost 8 years of marital bliss, they were blessed with a son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, on October 30, 2018. Sania and Shoaib's marriage became international news, and it attracted a lot of attention. In an interview with Curly Tales, Sania shared that people's comments were hard to digest and made it a difficult phase for her. However, being madly in love, Sania crossed national boundaries and ignored all societal remarks and stereotypes to get married to Shoaib. Calling their marriage one of the happiest times of her and Shoaib’s lives, Sania revealed that they found negative media reports very odd.
