Kaanta Laga fame, Shefali Jariwala and television actor, Parag Tyagi have been close friends for a long time before taking the plunge. The couple tied the knot on August 12, 2014, and has been together for several years. They have a strong bond and are supportive of each other's careers. Fans are waiting for the couple to become parents now. Recently, the actress has spoken about their baby planning.
Shefali and Parag have been married for more than 8 years. Shefali and Parag in an interview with E times revealed how they had planned to adopt a child, but the pandemic had hit a break to that thought. Talking about the same, Shefali said:
"I feel everything has its own time and things that are supposed to happen will happen."
In the same conversation, Shefali also shared that after the pandemic, she is scared to become a parent. However, the actress stated that her husband is keen to become a father. In her words:
"Everything changed during the lockdown. The intention is still there, but I am scared. The two years of the pandemic made me feel very uncertain of the future, I have lost too many close ones in this period, which has made me realise that life is fragile. I am scared to become a parent now, but Parag is ready. I believe you should bring home your baby only when you are ready and confident; not just financially stable, but also mentally stable. I have just taken a step back and will wait until I feel confident to take that step in life."
Shefali Jariwala started the year 2023 on a difficult note. She was injured a day before an event and was advised not to perform because of the stitches. She had to get 25 stitches that took some time to recover completely. Talking about the same she shared:
"I was injured a day before the event and was advised to not perform because of the stitches. But it was a New Year's event and I felt professionally it wouldn't be right to opt out at the last minute. So, I went ahead with my performance, but my hand started bleeding on stage and I was in pain. I guess that's the reason it took a long time for the injury to heal, but I am fine now.
For the unversed, Shefali Jariwala married the Meet Bros fame, Harmeet Singh, in 2004. However, things did not go well, and the duo parted ways in 2009. Later on, Shefali found love in the arms of Pavitra Rishta fame, Parag Tyagi, and they tied the knot in 2014.
