Talented dancer and actress, Mukti Mohan is living the most blissful phase of her life. For the unversed, she hopped onto a new chapter of her life as she got hitched to her soulmate and actor, Kunal Thakur on December 10, 2023. While their wedding was quite a secret affair, and the world didn’t know about it until they surprised their fans by dropping their wedding pictures. Now, Mukti’s twin sister, Shakti Mohan dropped heartwarming glimpses from the former’s starry sangeet celebrations.
Taking to her IG handle, Shakti Mohan dropped a bunch of unseen pictures from her twin sister, Mukti Mohan’s sangeet night. For the special day, Shakti looked drop-dead gorgeous in a red-hued embellished lehenga, teamed with a strappy choli. On the other hand, the then-to-be-bride, Mukti Mohan looked exquisite in a royal blue-hued lehenga, teamed with a matching full-sleeved choli. In the first glimpse, Shakti could be seen striking a pose with her twin sister, Mukti and jija ji, Kunal. The following picture featured Shakti inviting Mukti onto the stage for a performance on her sangeet.

However, the next picture melted everyone’s hearts, as it featured the Mohan sisters, shaking a leg on the dance floor and striking the same pose. The following picture featured Shakti striking a pose with her two jijus, Nihar Pandya and Kunal Thakur centre-stage, while Neeti and Mukti struck symmetrical poses beside them. Yet another picture which won hearts featured Shakti Mohan giving her twin sister, Mukti a tight hug, as they happily danced to a song. Along with the rest of the pictures, Shakti penned a sweet note that read as:
“All my favorite people together.”
It was back on December 10, 2023, when Mukti Mohan took to her IG handle and dropped heartwarming glimpses from her wedding with Kunal Thakur. For her D-Day, the diva chose a blush pink lehenga that had a touch of dark pink flowers. She teamed it with a full-sleeved choli, featuring heavy embroidery, and double dupattas. A diamond and emerald choker, a long necklace, matching earrings, matha-patti and a nath added stars to her overall look. Her hubby, Kunal, on the other hand, looked dashing in a cream-hued sherwani teamed with a matching turban. Along with the magical pictures, Mukti penned a touching note that read as:
“In you, I find my divine connection; with you, my union is destined. Grateful for the blessings bestowed by god, family and friends. Our families are ecstatic and seek your blessings for our journey forward as Husband and Wife."

On December 11, 2023, the newlywed couple, Mukti Mohan and Kunal Thakur hosted a grand reception evening for their friends and family. Apart from their friends and family, the celebration was attended by eminent singer, AR Rahman. For the day, the new bride, Mukti opted to wear a gorgeous red-hued saree, which featured beautiful zari embroidery in gold all over it. She teamed it with a matching blouse and amped her look with a maang teeka, bangles and statement earrings. Kunal, on the other hand, looked handsome in a black sherwani.
