Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor has been riding high on the success of his critically-acclaimed OTT web series, Farzi. The 42-year-old actor is receiving a lot of appreciation for his power-packed performance in the recently-released project both from the critics and the audience. Apart from this, on the personal front, he is a doting husband to his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, and a super dad to their kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor.
In an interview with the ETimes, Shahid Kapoor opened up about his personal life and talked about the immense love he has for his family. Talking about how he maintains a work-life balance, the actor shared that he ensures that he spends enough time with his family. Calling himself a slave to his kids, Misha and Zain's demands, Shahid said:
“Oh, they make sure I spend enough time with them. My children demand my time. And I am a slave to their demands.”

Well, not just this, Shahid also heaped praises on his beloved wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor and called her his soulmate. Mentioning that Mira is very understanding, the doting husband stated that she is well aware of his work commitments. The actor shared that he consciously takes time out for his family and added:
“I have a beautiful and very understanding and very supportive wife. So she understands the nature of work. And I consciously take time out for my family.”
Shahid Kapoor is a complete family man, and he never shies away from showering love on his family members. In the same interview, the Jab We Met actor talked about the same and shared that his biggest takeaway from the pandemic was a reiteration of his family values. Reflecting on the same, he said:
“This is one of the biggest things I learned during COVID especially, that spending time with your family, the ones you love, matters most. And I’m always very aware of that.”

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have been happily married for seven years now, and their bond is growing stronger with each passing day. Even in this era of crumbling relationships, the duo has, time and again, proved that they are a power couple. Further in the interview, Shahid spilled the beans on his recipe for a successful marriage and shared:
“Once you’re in it, you’re in it. You’re not in it to give up. Everything goes up and down, but if you’re committed, you’re committed. You don’t let go. And that’s how I look at it.”
On the work front, Shahid was last seen in the web series, Farzi.
