Television actor, Shaheer Sheikh and his wife, Ruchikaa Kapoor, who is the head of Ekta Kapoor's film division, are soon going to hop on a new journey of their lives. The adorable couple, who loves keeping their personal life private, is expecting their first child. Well, Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor are one of those couples, who don't prefer a lot of attention on their married life. In fact, Shaheer had broken many hearts when he had shared a mushy picture with his ladylove, Ruchikaa announcing that he is a married man, on his IG handle.

It was in November 2020, when speculations were rife that television heartthrob, Shaheer has finally found his 'missus'. And on November 5, 2020, Shaheer Sheikh had broken many hearts when he had shared the first picture with Ruchikaa Kapoor on his Instagram handle. He had captioned it as "Here you go... after all the morphed pictures, thought of saving you all some time."
According to a report in The Times of India, a source close to the couple revealed that they are going to embrace parenthood soon. The source shared, "Shaheer is known to keep a low profile in the media and doesn’t like to talk about his personal life. He has been tight-lipped about the news, keeping in mind the current pandemic situation in the country. Ruchikaa is in her first trimester. They’re both looking forward to embracing this new phase in their lives."
On January 31, 2021, Shaheer had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a throwback picture with his wife, Ruchikaa from their honeymoon. In the picture, we could see Shaheer looking dapper in an olive green jacket, which he had teamed with a pair of dark-blue jeans. On the other hand, Ruchikaa had donned a matching olive-green jacket with a pair of jeans. However, it was the giant statue of Gautam Buddha that made their picture more beautiful. Shaheer had captioned it as "It is better to travel well than to arrive."

Shaheer often shares snippets of his married life on his IG feed. We remember once he had treated his fans with another twinning picture with his darling wifey, Ruchikaa from their honeymoon. In the picture, we could see the duo sitting at a hilltop and looking supercute in matching denim jackets. Shaheer had captioned the picture as "#ontopoftheworld."
In an interview with SpotboyE, Shaheer had talked about his 'hush-hush' wedding and the reason why he had opted for a court marriage. The actor had shared that he doesn't like to celebrate his birthday as he is a very private person and that is the reason why he had opted for a court marriage. Shaheer had also stated that he always wanted a simple marriage. He had further added, "Ruchikaa and my family were not up for a simple one and that's why we are planning something in June. Because of the pandemic, we also got an opportunity to keep it low key and have it like an intimate affair." Shaheer had also revealed that there were not more than 10 people, who had attended his wedding.
