Shah Rukh Khan’s silver-screen pairing with his daughter, Suhana Khan has been something speculated about for a long time now. Fans of the superstar have been waiting with baited breath to see the doting father team up with his baby girl for the first time on-screen, now that the latter has already made her film debut. While earlier, there were reports about SRK and Suhana doing a spy-thriller under Sujoy Ghosh, it now seems that the duo have manifested their collaboration much earlier.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we stumbled upon a precious clip shared by Shah Rukh Khan, wherein he was seen promoting his son, Aryan Khan’s apparel brand, D’Yavol’s upcoming collaboration with the global group, Disney. However, what caught everyone’s attention was that he wasn’t the only one present in the clip, but was instead accompanied by his darling daughter, Suhana Khan. The latter joined her daddy to promote her brother’s brand, which would be collaborating with Disney soon. The father-daughter duo looked great together, and their camaraderie was just unmissable.

Previously, a report by FirstPost dismissed speculations about Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan uniting together for a film, helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. The report stated that it was the former who withdrew himself from such a project so as to spare his daughter, Suhana, the inevitable baggage of being compared with him. Moreover, it also revealed that SRK wasn’t particularly pleased with the kind of average response Suhana got for her debut film, and was apprehensive if this film too, would face such a fate.
Earlier, in an interview with Vogue, Suhana Khan opened up about what it meant for her to be recognised as Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter. In her response, the star daughter remarked that she always understood the stardom her father enjoys right from her childhood. However, Suhana mentioned that she used to get confused when people used to confuse her identity by that of her father. In her words:
“I realised quite early on that it was different for us. But I never really thought about my dad being famous. When I was about five, he would come and drop me to school, and people would point and stare. He wasn’t being addressed as Suhana’s dad, which is what I wanted. It confused me. I hated the attention. It made me very self-conscious.”

Previously, while speaking to MBC Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan retrospected on the idea about both her children, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan pursuing careers in the film industry itself. He mentioned that neither he or his wifey, Gauri Khan ever forced their children to choose a specific path in life only. He said:
“I’m happy that now they are into films and it’s a choice they made. I and Gauri, as a family, never told them to do this or that, they were free to choose what they wished to. One of them chose to be an actor-my daughter. My son decided to learn direction, so both of them are in films. The son is directing the film and the daughter has already acted in one film.”
