Shah Rukh Khan is a bonafide actor in Indian cinema, and there are no second thoughts about it. The actor rules millions of hearts with his impressionable acting chops over the years. Infamously hailed as Bollywood’s badshaah, SRK indeed knows how to live a life king size. And now, it seems that the legacy of the 58-year-old actor wont be dying anytime soon. Although the actor hasn’t ceased to work at any point of time, it is his darling daughter, Suhana Khan, who has followed in her daddy’s footsteps and debuted in Hindi cinema with Zoya Akhtar’s teenage drama, The Archies.
For quite some time now, rumours have been rife that Shah Rukh Khan’s would collaborate with his daughter, Suhana Khan, for the first time-ever. The film, named as King was said to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, wherein Suhana would play an orphan girl and SRK would be seen safeguarding her. While the news left many excited, according to newer reports, the film has been shelved. According to a report by FirstPost, it is SRK who has apparently withdrawn from the project, so as to prevent his daughter from facing the burdens of unfavourable comparisons with him. Moreover, SRK was also concerned with the aftermath of Suhana’s performance in her debut film, which received considerable flak from the audience. The source stated:
“I don’t think that project is happening, not after The Archies. Suhana needs to find a project as far removed from her father as possible. Earlier, SRK was tempted to get on camera with his daughter ASAP. Now, after ‘The Archies,’ this historic togetherness is gone on the back burner.”

Not just Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s firstborn, Aryan Khan has also ventured into the film industry. While he isn’t into acting, Aryan has instead taken up the directorial chair and has completed the shooting of his debut series, Stardom that would feature many A-listers from Bollywood. Previously, in an interview with MBC Bollywood, SRK talked about his children pursuing careers in the same industry as his and mentioned:
“I’m happy that now they are into films and it’s a choice they made. I and Gauri, as a family, never told them to do this or that, they were free to choose what they wished to. One of them chose to be an actor-my daughter. My son decided to learn direction, so both of them are in films. The son is directing the film and the daughter has already acted in one film.”
Well, time has indeed passed on and Shah Rukh Khan’s baby girl, Suhana has all grown-up to become a gorgeous diva in the making. In one of his old interviews with a leading daily, SRK had talked about manifesting a beautiful dream with his daughter. Back at that time, the actor mentioned wanting to drive out his daughter in all parties with him. Moreover, he mentioned that Suhana could also have her future BF with her, and the two of them could sit in the back seat, while he would happily drive them.

During an interview with Mirchi Plus for the promotions of her debut film, The Archies, Suhana Khan was asked if she ever felt awkward whenever her father and superstar, Shah Rukh Khan hyped her on the social media. To this, the newbie actress answered:
“No, not at all. Wo mere dad hi hain. Social media par, and in real life. So, it doesn't feel awkward. He is just sharing his love for me. I'm not awkward at all. I'm very proud."
