Shah Rukh Khan shares a warm bond with all his co-actresses and everyone from the film fraternity. However, he shares a close relationship, like family, with Anushka Sharma. The actress made her debut with Shah Rukh Khan in the film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which was a super hit film. Recently, Shah Rukh shared how Anushka Sharma's husband, Virat Kohli, is like his own son-in-law. Let us remind you that Shah Rukh and Virat both hail from Delhi.
Recently, while talking to Star Sports, Shah Rukh opened up about his relationship with Virat, and stated that he has spent a lot of time with him. Shah Rukh chimed while revealing that he is the son-in-law of Bollywood and he has known him since his dating period with Anushka Sharma as he had spent a lot of time with them. He was quoted as saying:
"I spent a lot of time with him, I just love him. We say that he is our son-in-law, he is our fraternity's ‘daamad’. I have known him the most compared to other players. I have known Virat and Anushka for a long time, spent a lot of time with them. I know him since his dating period was going on and I was shooting a film with Anushka. So, he spent many days with us, and became very friendly."

Shah Rukh also revealed how he had taught Virat the hook step of his super hit movie, Pathan in the last IPL. The actor further stated that Virat was trying to do the step with Ravindra Jadeja during a match and they did it badly, so he taught the steps to them. Talking about the same, Shah Rukh stated:
"So, I taught him (Virat Kohli) the Pathan movie title's dance steps. I saw him in one of the India matches. He tried to do the dance with Ravindra Jadeja in the match. They were trying to do that dance step. I was very sad that they were doing it so badly. I told them to let me make them learn the steps."
This is not the first time, Shah Rukh Khan called Virat his damaad. Last year, during 'Ask Me Anything' sessions on his X (formerly known as Twitter), one of his fans asked him to talk about Virat Kohli. To which, Shah Rukh called Virat 'his own' and added that he is like his damaad. He tweeted:
“I love @imVkohli he is like my own and I pray always for his well being….bhai damaad jaisa hai humaara (Bro is like our son-in-law)!!!”
Virat Kohli proved to the world that he is a 'King' for a reason. The ace cricketer won hearts with his performance in the IPL season. He is shining both professionally and personally. The ace cricketer welcomed his second child in February 2024. Currently, he is in India for the IPL season, while his wife, Anushka Sharma, is with their children, Vamika and Akaay, in London.
