Actors, Karan Veer Mehra and Nidhi Seth got married back in 2021. This was Karan’s second marriage, after his divorce from his first-wife in 2018. For the unversed, the duo crossed paths during a common project, and they eventually fell in love. After dating for a few years, the duo got hitched in an intimate wedding at a Gurudwara, surrounded by their immediate family and friends. However, their love story ended quite abruptly, as irreconcilable issues cropped up in their marriage. They were granted official divorce in 2023.
In a recent interaction with ETimes, Nidhi Seth opened up about the reason behind her divorce from her ex-husband, Karan Veer Mehra. The actress tagged her past as the biggest mistake of her life, and added how as soon as she realised it, she decided to end it and walk away. Nidhi remarked how for any relationship, mutual respect, financial security and mental calm are the bare minimum necessity. Expressing more, she said:
“That was the biggest mistake of my life. Once I realized that things weren't working out, I decided to move. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough awareness in this world about certain personality traits and behaviour which can ruin relationships. We had separated a year ago. I believe that daily fights are intolerable in a relationship. And in such a situation, we can never live together. Mental peace, respect for each other, honesty and being financially capable are essential in a marriage. I feel that toxicity in a relationship should not be accepted.”

It seems Nidhi Seth has truly and completely moved on in her life, as it was a few days back when she announced being in love for the second time. Taking to her IG handle, she dropped a picture of herself and her beau, whose name she didn’t disclose. While Nidhi looked happy with a bunch of flowers in her hand, her beau lovingly towards her. Along with the snapshot, Nidhi penned a note and wrote:
“Embracing love anew, a heart healed, a soul reborn. OFFICIALLY MY HAPPILY EVER AFTER!”

Previously, in an interaction with the Bombay Times, Karan Veer Mehra opened up about his divorce with Nidhi Seth. He remarked how he was quite reckless with the successes he got, and even ended up getting married without much thought. Karan further stated how he and Nidhi were perhaps never meant to be together. In his words:
“The flipside of this early success was that I became reckless — reckless enough to take a serious step like marriage without any thought. I decided on marriage within a day… Maybe, we were not made for each other. A childhood friendship of 10 years and another eight of marriage could not withstand the blitz of the glamour world.”
