And yet again, she posted some extremely cute pictures with Sharmila Tagore. In the monochromatic photos, Sara Ali Khan can be seen all decked up in a pantsuit. She exuded boss-lady vibes in her chic outfit. With open hair, subtle makeup, and a pair of classy heels, Sara finalised her look.

Sharmila Tagore can be seen donning a pretty saree as she posed with her poti, Sara. With a sheen makeup, dainty necklace, a pair of classy earrings, and open hair, Sharmila Tagore added an oomph factor to her evergreen beauty. However, in one of the photos, Sharmila can be seen looking adorably at Sara while the latter posed for the camera. Yet, in another photo, Sara and Sharmila can be seen flashing their million-dollar smiles while posing for the camera, and it was indeed heart-melting. Sharing the photos, Sara penned a rhythmical poem for her grandmom, which can be read as:
"Between the shades of Black and White. There my love lies the fight. Luckily I have Badi Amma to hold me tight. So I can sore and & glide my kite. Especially when there’s no wrong and right. Why fear a scratch or bite. Just conquer lands, swim the sea and climb the height. For as long as you can dream. That’s an enviable & lucky plight."
It was back on December 8, 2023, when Sara Ali Khan took to her IG handle and posted a bunch of cute photos from her badi amma, Sharmila Tagore's low-key birthday bash. In some of the photos, we could see all members of the Pataudi clan posing alongside each other. What caught our attention was a photo wherein Sharmila and Sara could be seen striking a similar candid pose while managing their hair. Sara also revealed the backstory of this candid photo in one of her Instagram stories. In a clip, all the members sang the song, Tum Jiyo Hazaro Saal as Sharmila Tagore cut her birthday cake.

During the promotion of her film, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Sara Ali Khan visited the city of joy, Kolkata. While being there, the diva walked down memory lane and recalled visiting the city during Durga pooja. She also talked about Bengali beauty and Sharmila Tagore. Sara talked about the captivating pair of chandbalis of Sharmila Tagore, which was first gifted to the veteran actress by her sasu maa, then was passed onto Amrita Singh. It was destined to go to Ibrahim Ali Khan's wife as a tradition. However, Sara added that she has a written declaration from Sharmila Tagore that the former would possess a pair of chandbalis.
