On February 23, 2024, Sara uploaded pictures on her Instagram stories showcasing a retro look. The actress was seen donning a pink-hued polka-dotted chiffon saree paired with a sleeveless blouse of the same print. Sara’s hair was styled like the ‘70s Bollywood heroines, and her glam makeup comprised of glossy lips, perfectly lined eyes, and blushed cheeks. She accessorised her minimalistic look with just a pair of studs. Sara wrote atop her pictures:

“Kaash mein ban sakti badi amma, This is a real heartfelt Tamanna.”

Sara Ali Khan shares a reel where she plays badminton while humming ‘Dhal Gaya Din’ song

Sara Ali Khan also posted a reel on her Instagram feed wearing the same saree. In the video, the Bollywood actress could be seen playing badminton while humming the song, Dhal Gaya Din. For the unversed, the song is from the 1970 film, Humjoli, featuring legendary actors like Jeetendra, Mehmood, and Leela Chandavarkar. She captioned the reel as:

“Real Vs Reel. BTS mein hai asli feel.”

While a majority of people just could not get over Sara’s retro look and thought she was looking like her grandmother, Sharmila Tagore, others praised her sense of humour. One user wrote, “She is the most humble and obedient Starkid.” Another one said, “This hairstyle looks good on you.” A third comment can be read as “Copy of Sharmila ji.”

Just a few days ago, on her mother’s 66th birthday, Sara Ali Khan penned a poetic caption for Amrita Singh to wish her on her special day. She even posted two pictures of the mother-daughter duo and expressed her appreciation for her mother via a quirky poem. She captioned her post as:

“Meri Duniya meri Mommy Jaan, Aap mein bastein mere Praan, My biggest endeavour is to keep your Maan, And try to add to your splendid Aan Baan aur Shaan, Sorry for all the times I make you Hairaan, Doing all that you have isn’t Aasaan, Aur is pyaar ka hai parimann, Your endless mamta, patience and Dyaan, That have made me feel so secure- diya itna Amaan, Ki sapne dekh sakoon of udaan in Aasmaan, Thank you maa.. aur kaise karoon Bayaan? In the first picture of her post, Sara and Amrita wore their brightest smiles as they posed for the lens. While the former was dressed in green-black activewear and was seen holding a clapper board of her film, Murder Mubarak, Amrita, on the other hand, donned a white-hued kurta, which she paired with a same-coloured dupatta and a classy sunglass. In the next picture, the starlet was photographed wearing a classy old saree featuring brown detailing. Sara, again, was posing with the clapboard of her film, Ae Watan Mere Watan. Meanwhile, Amrita radiated elegance in a white kurta, which she paired with loose-fitted jeans and a multicoloured dupatta.
