Sara Ali Khan Reveals That Her Father, Saif Ali Khan Has Never Been An Absentee Father

A mother is always considered the epitome of love and care. She knows how to nurture a little being and how to show her love in millions of ways. But poor 'papa bears' they don't know much about showing off their love for the little kids. They faulter at expressing their true emotions and maybe that's the reason why most of us are not close with our 'daddy dears'. However, it is also true that behind a father's strong demeanour lies an emotional man, who comes out at times and becomes the pillar of strength for the entire family. And an exactly similar relationship is shared between Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan and his daughter, Sara Ali Khan. (Recommend Read: Puja Banerjee Is All Set To Tie The Knot With Her Fiance, Kunal Verma In April, Deets Inside)

In millions of media interactions, Sara Ali Khan has proudly shared how her mother, Amrita Singh has aced her job as a single mother and gave her the best childhood. But that doesn't mean, she is not close to her father, Saif. We remember a few months ago, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Saif had shared that he may not have been responsible at various times while he was in his 20s, but he has always been there and ready to do the best that he can for his kids. Saif had clearly stated that he had never felt like an absentee father.

Well, that's true as Sara perfectly described Saif as a father in a recent interview with the Hindustan Times. She said, "I know my father very well. Dad is like me, so he says what he is thinking at that particular point. He never really says things for any ulterior motive. I love my mother a lot. I think when you have a lot of time to show a feeling or emotion, it’s easier. Mum is a single mother and I am everything because of her but she has every day to show how much she loves me. I don’t live with my father so, I haven’t felt that [emotion from his side]."  (Also Read: Karisma Kapoor's Son, Kiaan Raj Kapoor Gets An Adorable Birthday Wish From Stepmom, Priya Sachdev)

She further said, "The only thing that I know about dad is that he has always been a great father. He has always been there without even living with us. So, I think he deserves a special hug and love from me for never making me feel that he doesn’t live with me because he was, and is always just a phone call away. And that’s really comforting."

Talking about Sara and Saif's bond, it is still same, despite the fact that Saif Ali Khan and his first wife, Amrita Singh had an ugly divorce. On the occasion of Father's Day, Sara had flipped through the old photo albums and had shared a series of pictures with her abba. Along with it, she had written, "Happy Fathers’ Day Abba. Thank you for always being here for me, for being my partner on nerdy holidays, for teaching me how to read, for showing me my first rain and snow, for teaching me how to eat spaghetti and all the while remaining patient, loving and compassionate! #likefatherlikedaughter #daddysgirl #mymainman #handsomestman #partnerincrime".

In one of the interactions with the Vogue magazine, Sara had talked about her father and had said, "He’s a lot like me—we’re both readers, we both like history, we’re both travellers. He is 25 years older than me, which isn’t a lot. I am right in between the age gap of Taimur (Saif and Kareena’s son) and my father."

in an interview with the Mid-Day, Sara had shared that her daddy, Saif doesn't like discussing films with her and had stated, "He looks at me like I'm a traitor for discussing films. He lives with Kareena [Kapoor], is a brother to Soha, and is an actor's son. So, now, if I discuss work, he's like, 'Please don't do this to me.' So, we don't talk about films often. We talk about history, argue about what Hitler's motivations were, or who was wrong in the Cold War. Sometimes, we discuss religion and how different beliefs and social systems came about. We both enjoy culture, traveling, good food, and great conversations." (Don't Miss: K.G.F. Star, Yash Shares A Picture Of Daughter, Ayra's Summer Look And Her Expressions Are Priceless)
