Sanjay Dutt is one of the most talented actors in the Hindi film industry. He has won millions of hearts by giving stellar performances in popular films like Leo, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., K.G.F., Jawan, Khal Nayank, Vaastav: The Reality, Agneepath, Rocky and many more. Sanjay Dutt's life has always been surrounded by controversies, from having multiple affairs to getting arrested under the TADA act for his possession of arms that were part of the consignment used in the 1993 blast. Now, a video of the actor surfaced on the internet for which he has been receiving hate.
On December 4, 2023, a Reddit user dropped a video of Sanjay Dutt on the discussion platform. In the video, the Agneepath actor seemingly looked drunk. However, it was his behaviour with a young fan that caught everyone's attention. In the video, Sanjay can be seen forcibly pulling a young fan by his hand towards him. Moreover, Sanjay can also be saying something in the drunk state, which was not clear in the video. Later, in the video, we can see the actor getting angry and gesturing for the fan to go away from there.

Soon after, the Reddit user shared the video, social media users flooded the comment section of the post with their reactions. While some called him creepy, others said that his behaviour was disgusting. One of the internet users commented, "Did I hear what I think I did?? It's disgusting!! Wow!! These people are so creepy and perverted." Another social media user reacted to the video and wrote, "Something does not feel right here. The way he pulled the child and the way child pulled back. Can't hear the audio but vibes are not good." One more comment can be read as "He looks angry while drunk and definitely said something bad to the kid. Poor kid pulling his hand back, and our dear Sanju Baba suddenly gets aware of the media starts smiling. It's my interpretation."
As per a report by India Today, the former I.P.S. officer, Meeran, in her memoir, Madam Commissioner: The Extraordinary Life of an Indian Police Chief, opened up about Sanjay Dutt's jail tenure and recalled an incident. Talking about the same, she revealed that once the actor got panicked as he thought that he would be killed in an encounter while being transferred from the Arthur Road jail to Pune’s Yerwada Jail. The former I.P.S. officer mentioned that the news of Sanjay's transfer was leaked, and that left him sweating out of fear of getting killed.

Earlier, in a conversation with the Lallantop, Sanjay Dutt's lawyer, Pradeep Rai opened up about his jail tenure. Talking about the same, he revealed that the actor had a habit of never repeating his clothes. However, when Sanjay came out of jail, he was wearing a torn piece of clothing. Pradeep also shared how Sanjay told him that he wore that single piece of clothing inside the jail as he couldn't arrange another one. In his words:
"I knew that Sanjay Dutt used to have the habit of not repeating his clothes. The same Sanjay Dutt, when he came out, he came with a garment, which was worn and torn. He showed it to me and said that he only wore this because he wouldn't get another inside."
