For the unversed, after months of speculation, the athlete’s father confirmed that his daughter had taken khula from her husband, which according to Islamic tradition allows a woman to give divorce to her partner unilaterally. While the time has indeed been quite difficult for the tennis sensation, she hasn’t ever opened up about her personal life publicly. But her frequent cryptic posts on social media platforms keep on expressing her views towards life.
Taking to her IG stories on February 29, 2024, Sania Mirza shared a cryptic note, which aptly conveyed expressed her situation in her personal life. The athlete recently ended her marriage of 14 years, and her ex-husband, Shoaib Malik got married for the third time to Pakistani actress, Sana Javed. For the unversed, the former couple is blessed with a son, Izhaan.

Coming back to the cryptic note shared by Sania, it talked about how a woman strives to remain a warrior, even in the most difficult of situations. It can be further read as:
“Some days she is a warrior. Some days she’s a broken mess. Most days, she’s a bit of both. But every day, she’s there. Standing, fighting, trying. She is me.”
Back on February 9, 2024, Sania Mirza made her first public appearance after announcing her separation from Shoaib Malik. The tennis sensation was spotted at the Mumbai airport as she arrived to take part in an event. She sported a no-fuss look a pastel blue trench coat, teamed over a beige crop top and brown belle pants. Open tresses and a pair of classy sunnies accentuated her look.
In a telephonic conversation with Pakistani journalist, Naeem Hanif, Sania Mirza revealed a shocking anecdote about her son, Izhaan. The doting mother revealed how after her divorce from her ex-husband, Shoaib Malik, there son was rendered mentally disturbed. Sania revealed that her son got constantly bullied at his school over his father’s third marriage, as a result of which Izhaan stopped going to school completely. As a result, the athlete had no choice left than to bring back her son along with her to India from Dubai.

On February 15, 2024, Sania Mirza took to her IG story and shared a meaning cryptic note, that talked about sabr or patience. The note explained the true essence of patience that highlighted the strength to be able to smile against all odds and forgive people who have been cruel. The post read as:
“Sabr is smiling at people despite all the hurting inside you. Sabr is when tears come rushing down your eyes and wiping it off before anyone notices it. Sabr is forgiving people that are cruel to you. Sabr is having full Imaan in Allah that everything will workout. Sabr is trusting Allah’s plan.”
