Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik have been hitting the headlines for quite some time now for their alleged separation rumours. Time and again, they have also added fuel to the rumours with their social media posts and public appearances. Now, as their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik turned a year older, his parents were spotted celebrating the kid's special day together. For the unversed, Sania and Shoaib were blessed with their baby boy, Izhaan in 2018, after being in marital bliss for eight long years.
Taking to the IG handle, Shoaib Malik shared a couple of pictures from his and Sania Mirza's son, Izhaan's fifth birthday. In the pictures, the father-son duo was seen posing for the lens while standing in front of a scrumptious cake. While the little boy wore a printed t-shirt paired with green pants, his daddy looked handsome in an all-black outfit paired with matching sunnies and a cap. In the pictures, we can also spot Sania in the background while the photos were clicked. Sharing the pictures, the doting daddy wrote:
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Beta... Baba loves you."

Sania and Shoaib's son, Izhaan cut beautiful yellow-hued cake in the theme of the little boy's favourite cartoon character, Sonic. He was seen extremely happy in the pictures, while posing with the scrumptious cake.
Recently, taking to her IG stories, Sania Mirza dropped a picture note of a post with a cryptic message written on it. The note explained how communication means that one cares about one's relations. On the other hand, silence takes an entirely different meaning in a particular relationship. Well, as Sania and her husband, Shoaib have been frequently hitting the headlines for their divorce rumours, this post led everyone to believe that all was certainly not well between the estranged couple.

Back in August 2023, we spotted a change in Shoaib Malik’s Instagram bio, and this had sparked divorce rumours between him and his estranged wife, Sania Mirza. Shoaib’s former bio stated that he was the 'husband to a superwoman @mirzasaniar’. However, his new and changed bio elaborates on his identity as the father to his son, Izhaan. Shoaib’s new bio read as:
“Father to One True Blessing.”
