No emotions can surpass the feelings of a mother when she holds her child in the labour room for the first time after bearing hours of labour pain. She becomes a warrior the moment she gives birth to a life and takes the place of almighty. From the moment she gets the news of her pregnancy, all she waits throughout the 9 months is to hold her little one in her arms. Weight gain, morning sickness, swollen hands and feet, back pain, hair loss, loss of appetite, mood swings are some of the major physical and emotional changes she goes through. While we talk about motherhood, one celebrity mother, who has won our hearts with her inspirational posts on social media is Sameera Reddy. Whether it is talking about her postpartum depression, messy mamma posts or encouraging all mommies to love themselves, Sameera is a motivation to many. Sameera had embraced motherhood for the first time on May 14, 2015, when she had welcomed her baby boy, Hans Varde. On July 12, 2019, Sameera had become a mother for the second time as she had welcomed a little princess and named her, Nyra. Sameera’s little angel, Nyra celebrated her one year into this world with her family.
On July 12, 2020, Nyra turned one and her doting mother, Sameera Reddy shared a beautiful birthday wish for her. She took to her Instagram handle and shared a video of some unseen moments with Nyra. The video also gave glimpses of Sameera in the labour room, Hans waiting patiently for his little sister, and the proud parents welcoming Nyra into their lives. Along with the video, Sameera wrote, “Wow what a year it’s been. Thank you for the wishes everyone. It’s so beautiful that we can experience so much love in these crazy times thru the digital world. I’m so grateful. Happy Birthday Nyra” followed by a heart emoticon. Sameera also shared some pictures of their intimate celebration on her IG stories. Take a look:
On July 31, 2019, Sameera had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared her baby girl’s name. She had shared a picture of herself with her son, Hans Varde holding a sheet, where the little one’s name was written. She had announced her angel’s name as Nyra, which means ‘beauty of Goddess Saraswati and gift of God’. When Nyra had turned 40 days old on August 22, 2019, her momma, Sameera had taken little Nyra out for her first outing. Stepping out of the four walls, the little angel seemed quite happy. Sharing an adorable picture of carrying Nyra in a baby carrier, where her face was partially visible, Sameera had written, “40 days done. It’s baby’s day out! It’s a bright shiny day & lil Nyra is lovin it. So nice to be mobile #babysdayout #momlifebelike #letsdothis.”
On November 17, 2019, Sameera had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful picture of herself holding her tiny bundle of joy. With the picture, Sameera had written a heartfelt note which could be read as “To have a lil girl is such joy! Can’t even understand how in our country the girl child was considered a burden. I say ‘was’ because I hope that mindset has really changed.
