Amidst Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' Release, Sameer Wankhede Wins The Rs. 25 Crores Bribery Case

Sameer Wankhede yet again made headlines as he won the 25 crore bribery case, which involved superstar, Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan. For the unversed, in 2021, Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan landed in big trouble in the Cordelia drug bust case. However, he was soon given a clean chit by the NCB's special investigation team. However, Sameer Wankhede was booked under charges of criminal conspiracy and extortion threat.

After facing a lot of hate and media trials, Sameer Wankhede finally won the case. The Central Administrative Tribunal in their order have stated that NCB Deputy Director, Gyaneshwar Singh could not have been part of the special enquiry team set up to probe alleged procedural lapses by former Zonal Zonal Director of NCB Sameer Wankhede, as he was the one who gave the instructions to him in the investigation of the Cordelia drug bust case.

When Sameera Wankhede's cryptic tweet left everyone thinking that he took a dig at SRK

It all started when the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, Jawan, left audience in awe. In the trailer, Shah Rukh had said, "Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar." Interestingly, when this dialogue came as a voiceover, the screen said 'Produced by Gauri Khan'.

Withing few hours, Sameer Wankhede penned a cryptic note that left netizens shocked. Taking to social media platform, X, Sameer talked about a quote that inspired him, and it looked like a reply to SRK. His tweet could be read as:

"I have licked the fire and danced in the ashes of every bridge I ever burned. I fear no hell from you. -Nicole Lyons. A quote that always inspires me !"
