On September 3, 2023, the seventh season of Bigg Boss Telugu was launched with full zeal and enthusiasm. And now, a video from the premiere episode has been going viral on the internet. In the video, South superstar, Vijay Deverakonda can be seen making a dashing entry on the show to promote his upcoming film, Kushi. However, it was the absence of his co-star, Samantha, that grabbed eyeballs.

Further, in the video, Vijay was seen talking about his upcoming release. However, it was Nagarjuna's question about the former's co-star and his ex-daughter-in-law, Samantha that left the fans surprised. During the episode, Vijay revealed that prioritising her health, the actress is currently in the US and has been promoting their film in the States after Nagarjuna inquired about Samantha's whereabouts. Later, Nagarjuna was also seen heaping praises on his former daughter-in-law. Mentioning how Vijay and Samantha's pair is really amazing, Nagarjuna said:
"You are a fantastic actor. She is a very good actress and you both together make for an amazing pair."
For the unversed, it was on October 29, 2022, when Samantha had opened up about being diagnosed with Myositis. Taking to her IG handle, she dropped a picture of herself from the hospital and penned a long note about her unheard battle with her auto-immune condition. In her note, Samantha shared how she was not able to celebrate the happiness and love that she got for her then-un-released film, Yashodha since her health had gone down drastically.

Earlier, in an interview with Zoom TV, Samantha had opened up about her divorce from Naga Chaitanya. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that it was the darkest phase of her life. Samantha added that there were days when she didn't want to get out of bed and needed constant reassurance from her mother that she would be fine. The actress concluded by adding that she could come out of that phase through the support of her close ones.
For the unversed, it was on October 6, 2017, when Samantha and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot as per Hindu and Christian rituals. The ex-couple looked like a match made in heaven in their respective traditional outfits at their wedding. However, in 2021, rumours about Samantha and Chaitanya's divorce started doing rounds in the media. And finally, four days before their fourth wedding anniversary, Samantha and Chaitanya announced their separation news by releasing an official statement.
