The OG style icon of the Hindi film industry, Salman Khan has been ruling Bollywood for over three decades. Born as Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan, this handsome actor is the heartthrob of millions. Bollywood’s bhaijaan began his acting career in 1988 with the film, Biwi Ho To Aisi, and since then, there has been no looking back for him.
Apart from his successful professional life, Salman has been in the limelight for his link-up rumours with many B-town divas, and one of them was Aishwarya Rai. Salman and Aishwarya’s relationship was once the talk of the town, but their ugly breakup created a lot of buzz, too. After her breakup with Salman, Aishwarya went on to marry actor, Abhishek Bachchan. However, despite his ugly past with Aishwarya, Salman shares a very cordial bond with the Bachchans. It was during industrialist, Sunny Dewan’s Christmas party in 2012 when Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan were spotted together for the first time. People in the party were expecting some drama, but like mature individuals, Salman and Abhishek were cordial with each other. As per a guest present at the party:
“Salman reciprocated warmly. The two actors chatted for a long time. We thought either Salman or Abhishek would make a quiet and quick exit, but they both stayed on till 5 am, Aishwarya had settled in one corner.”
In 2016, actress, Preity Zinta hosted, and her husband, Gene Goodenough hosted a grand wedding reception in Mumbai, and it was a star-studded affair. Amid the A-listers, actor, Abhishek Bachchan too attended the event. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Abhishek turned up for the event solo as his wife, Aishwarya was in Cannes. As the actor was leaving the event, he bumped into Salman Khan. After meeting Salman, Abhishek decided to stay for a little longer, and the two actors reportedly danced until the wee hours of the morning.

In 2013, when Amitabh Bachchan was shooting for Bhootnath 2, the megastar met Salman Khan, who was shooting in the same vicinity. The veteran actor met Salman and also enquired about his health. Sharing details of his meeting, Big B tweeted:
“Met the lovely Tabu and Salman shooting on next floor...always a joy to be with colleagues. Salman shooting on next floor...met up and enquire of his nerve ailment...he is improving.”
It was in 2007 when Aishwarya Rai got married to Abhishek Bachchan. In 2010, when Salman Khan appeared for an interview with India TV, he was asked about his reaction on Aishwarya’s marriage to Abhishek. Salman not only refrained from making any controversial statement but also won many hearts with his response. The handsome actor said:
“I am very happy she is married to Abhishek. He is a great guy from a good family. The best thing I can want for her is that she leads a happy life.”
In 2016, Salman Khan was appointed as the goodwill ambassador of India's contingent for the Rio Olympics. However, his appointment stirred up a lot of controversy as many people thought that someone from a sports background should have been selected. Amid all the fiasco, it was Aishwarya Rai, who indirectly came to speak in Salman’s support. Sharing her stance on the controversy, Aishwarya stated:
“I have to say that anyone, who is doing good to represent the country or working or speaking or standing for the betterment of art, music or sports is wonderful and the person should be recognised."

In December 2023, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan attended Anand Pandit's 60th birthday celebration. Salman Khan too graced the event. A video from the event went viral, wherein Salman was seen greeting Anand Pandit, later he rushed to hug Amitabh Bachchan and paid his gratitude. Salman was also seen hugging Abhishek Bachchan and the two warmly greeted each other.
