Bollywood's veteran actor, Dilip Kumar, has been admitted to Hinduja hospital on Sunday morning. The actor has been facing the issue of breathlessness. Earlier, in May, the 98-year-old actor was hospitalised due to some health issues, and his wife, Saira Banu, shared that there was nothing to worry about as it was for his regular checkup.

Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu have witnessed the toughest times and stood with each other like a rock for those who don't know. When Dilip had fallen sick, Saira held his hands and never left it even for a second.
On June 6, 2021, Dilip Kumar's official Twitter handle shared a tweet regarding his health. The tweet can be read as "Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe." Check it out below:
Dilip Kumar's wife, Saira Banu opened up on the same in an interview with India TV. She said, "Dilip Kumar sahab has been admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. He was having breathing issues since past few days, he is in consultation with Dr Jaleel Parker along with a team at Hinduja led by Dr Nitin Gokhale."

For those who don't know, Dilip Kumar had lost his two brother's last year due to the Coronavirus. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sira had shared, "We are still unable to come to terms with the passing of our brothers, Ahsan bhai and Aslam bhai. Moreover, Sahib never plans anything for his birthday. In fact, he remembers the event only when he sees the flowers sent by his friends and well-wishers, lining the drawing-room and the foyer and the phone keeps ringing ceaselessly."
We remember in an interview with The Times Of India, Saira had shared the details of her engagement day. The veteran actress had said, "The day we got engaged, one girl- not from the industry- who was supposedly his girlfriend and had been almost up to the altar with him, took sleeping pills. Dilip saab had to rush to her and make her understand that he's in love with me. He pacified her and came back to the engagement ceremony. I got sort of used to such things. There were girls who would stand in front of his car and wish that the car runs over them."
