Rishi Kapoor broke many hearts when he married popular actress, Neetu Kapoor. The duo dated each other for a while and tied the knot on January 22, 1980. The couple has two children, Riddhima Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with leukaemia and passed away on April 30, 2020, after battling it for two years. As April 30, 2024, marked the late actor's fourth death anniversary, his family members cherished their memories with the late actor.
Taking to her IG handle, Neetu Kapoor shared a beautiful throwback picture with Rishi Kapoor, bringing back a lot of memories. In the photo. Neetu looked gorgeous as ever in a blue-hued outfit with gold embellishments near the neckline. Rishi Kapoor, on the other hand, complemented her in a dark navy blue pantsuit paired with a crisp white shirt, a tie and a printed pocket square. The madly-in-love duo adorably looked at the lens as the camera clicked their portrait. Sharing the photo, Neetu penned:
“4 years. For us life can never be the same without you.”

Meanwhile, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also took to her IG stories and shared a throwback picture in the memory of her late father, Rishi Kapoor. The adorable portrait showed baby Riddhima sitting on her father’s lap and busy doing her cutesy antics. Rishi looked dapper as always in a grey-hued t-shirt and a hat. The super cute picture of the father-daughter duo simply melted our hearts in no time. Atop it, Riddhima penned:
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. #forever #missyousomuch."
Once, in an interview with Annu Kapoor on his radio show, Suhaana Safar, Neetu Kapoor revealed that her first meeting with her husband, Rishi Kapoor was horrible. Neetu and Rishi have worked together in many films such as Amar Akbar Anthony, Khel Khel Mein and Kabhi Kabhie. Recalling her first meeting with Rishi, Neetu Kapoor shared that the actor was a brat who used to bully everyone on the sets and added that he would comment on her make-up and clothes, making her feel so angry. Mentioning that she was very young at that time, Neetu shared that she used to be furious with him.

Earlier, in an interview with Galatta India, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni recalled the last memory of her father and shared that the latter had called her two days before his death, but she missed his call. However, she revealed that she still regrets it, as after that, her dad couldn't respond or talk to anyone because he was in the hospital. Riddhima also added that she took a screenshot of the call log as it was the last time he called her and said:
“He tried to call me two days before this happened. He gave me a missed call, I still have it on my phone. That was his last missed call to me and I thought… I wish I had taken that. After that, he couldn’t really respond or talk because he was in the hospital and I still have that missed call saved. I took a screenshot and I saved it. Because that was the last time he called me to actually talk to me. I called him after that but he couldn’t speak.”
Rishi Kapoor will always be missed.
